About me: My name is Pongo, and I’m a tiny guy with a big heart. I weigh just 8 pounds, making me the perfect little companion to have by your side (or trotting behind you to see what you’re up to).I haven’t had the easiest start in life and came from a situation where I didn’t get to learn what love and trust feel like. But with patience and kindness, I’m learning that people can be pretty wonderful! I’m a senior pup looking to spend my golden years surrounded by love. Likes: Following my people around the house to stay close and see what’s happening.My Dislikes: I’m still learning to trust, and sudden movements make me nervous. My foster family is helping me build confidence every day.Special Considerations:I have a Grade 5 heart murmur and elevated liver enzymes, so I’ll need a vet to keep an eye on those.Dogs: YesCats: I haven’t met any yet, so we’re not sure how I’d do. Probably wouldn’t mind them.Children: I’d do best in a home without young children — or with older, respectful ones — since I’m so small and still learning to feel safe.Kennel trained: Yes! House trained: I’m working on it! But use pee-pads when I can’t go out.
