Story
Bunny is a two-year-old Poodle and Maltese mix who weighs 21 lbs and is looking for a fresh start. Having lived with the same family since he was a puppy, he is well-adjusted to home life and is used to sleeping soundly on his own dog bed. While Bunny is a seasoned companion, his previous home was unclear about his housetraining, so his new owners should be prepared to offer a little patience and guidance as he learns the routine in a new environment. His previous owners report that he is good with other dogs, cats, and even children, having been raised alongside a one-year-old. If you have other dogs at home, they will need to join the meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit, and any cat-friendly homes should plan for a slow, careful introduction to set Bunny up for success. He doesn't seem to enjoy the shelter life very much, so we hope someone loving and patient can adopt him and make him feel comfortable and safe. He is already neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so he is ready to head home as soon as he meets the right match. He will need to be groomed regularly, so his new home should take into account that cost before applying.
