Story
Meet Snoopy! This 10-year-old Silky Terrier weighs 12 lbs. Snoopy is a kissy pup who is on the search for a human who will love him just as much as he loves them. General Behavior: Snoopy is such a happy boy filled with so much love! As soon as you enter the room, he will dash to you in pure glee. While he does take some time to feel comfortable in new environments, once he is, he is easy-going and content snuggling with his human, and then returning to his comfy bed for a nap. Likes & Dislikes: Aside from quality snuggles, Snoopy loves to give kisses, especially as a “Thank You” for being given a yummy treat. He enjoys lounging around on the couch or in his bed before zooming to the kitchen for mealtime. Snoopy does not like to be left home alone, especially while he is getting comfortable with his environment. Training: Silly Snoopy is a good boy! He has great basic manners and walks well on a leash. Once settled, he does well with his housetraining when let out frequently and on a schedule. At night, Snoopy sleeps soundly in his dog bed until morning. Medical: While Snoopy doesn’t have any teeth, he is a healthy guy! He gobbles up his soft food like a champ. He does require his monthly heartworm and flea prevention like any other pooch. Other Animals: Snoopy interacts well with other dogs but prefers his human over them. He ignores his kittie foster siblings and wouldn’t mind a home with cats. Children: Snoopy has not been introduced to any children but given his laid-back and gentle demeanor, we think he would do just fine in a home with them. Home: This handsome boy will require a single-family home without directly connected neighbors. Snoopy has a loud bark and when he’s trying to tell his humans something (He’s hungry, not wanting to be left home alone, wants to go outside, etc.), he can be quite loud, and we wouldn’t want him bothering the neighbors. Grooming: As a Silky Terrier, Snoopy will require a trip to the groomer every 8 weeks or so to keep him looking spiffy. The cost of grooming for a pup of his breed and size is approximately $65+, and any potential applicants should be aware of this recurring expense. Overall: Snoopy is a goofy guy with absolutely so much love in his tiny heart. He is sure to bring happiness and joy to his forever family. Are you the one for Snoopy? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with his foster family if it’s a match. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption donation is $325. ##1988101##

Story
Ripley has only been with me a day but I'll do a little bio on her with what I can tell so far. She's super sweet. She loves to be right on you or next to you and she loves to give kisses. She's fine with my Aussies and really doesn't even pay much attention to them. She walks well on a leash but doesn't seem to know basic commands. I was working with her for a couple minutes with treats and she was already sitting for me so she should learn quickly. I'll work with her as long as she's here. I have no cats so how she is with cats isn't known. She chases lizards and is very interested in squirrels. She seems to be housebroken (no accidents) and she does fine in a crate. She'll whine a little and today when I went outside without her she barked a couple minutes but she calmed down. She slept in bed next to me most of the night. Right up against me. She loves to be near you. She's a super sweet dog and anyone who adopts her will be very lucky to have her.

Story
He is the sweetest dog . Bentley is a really laid back little guy . He walks around my house like he's been here forever . He gets along well with my Frenchy and is friendly to my cats , and not aggressive to them at all. He just wants to cuddle and be loved on. He loves to have his belly rubbed. Last night he slept with me in bed and then moved to a dog bed on the floor next to bed. He seems to be crate trained . He walks nice on a leash and does not seem to know any commands . He is working on the potty training and seems to be getting the idea about going outside quickly . And he rides nicely in the car! If you are interested in adopting Bentley, please complete an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRF/Dog

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lola is a happy and energetic little girl who is a bit cautious when first meeting new people. She does not like to be separated from her people and is not at all a fan of crates.  She is good with the other dogs in her foster home, but lacks some personal space awareness and does not always read the cues well as to when other dogs have had enough.  She is a smart girl and will learn in time, but supervision will be needed with her and other dogs while she is learning, as she can get pretty rough when wanting to play.  Lola, while a really sweet and loving girl, is also very enthusiastic in trying to get other dogs to play with her, including jumping on them.   Because she is so persistent in her determined efforts to play, she would not be a good match for dogs that are more elderly and her size or smaller. She is really cute in how she likes to carry things around and she also likes chewing bones. She is a barker - very loud and constant - if she is separated from you or crated. She would not be appropriate for an apartment-shared wall setting.   Lola does like to cuddle or sit on your lap/next to you.     She does require a lot of activity and interaction with people and/or other dogs.   She loves being outside and bounds around the yard like a rabbit.    She likes to play with balls or bring a bone outside with her from the house.   If it is wet out, expect to clean up her paws/lower body afterwards! She will require consistent grooming - both at the groomer and also when she comes in from outside. Her fur easily collects outdoor things such as leaves, squigglies, stickies, etc. and if they are not removed when she comes in, they can easily turn into mats.    Lola is very fast, very busy, and she has a fantastic little smile! She would be best in an energetic home with owners who are home much of the day to spend time with her and continue her socialization with other dogs.  A fenced backyard is preferred for her.
