Story
Junior is a 1-year-old small mixed-breed girl with an itty-bitty 8-lb frame. She’s an exceptionally easy, gentle dog who thrives in a quiet, cozy environment and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a low-maintenance, affectionate pup.True to her personality, Junior’s favorite activity is sleeping… preferably snuggled up near her person. She’s not very food-motivated, doesn’t demand much exercise, and hasn’t shown much interest in walks. In fact, when she goes outside, she’s usually a bit confused and ready to head right back in.Junior can be shy at first and was nervous for a day or two when entering her foster home, but once she settled in, she became relaxed and content. She does well in her crate, and is trained to go potty on puppy pads.Junior is slightly timid but does well with other dogs, and does great with cats! She hasn't had much experience with kids that we know of, so a proper introduction is recommended. She enjoys being around people but is also perfectly fine entertaining herself or resting when alone. She may give a tiny “guard dog” bark when startled or when her person comes home, which is extra adorable given her size. One of Junior’s cutest quirks is her little two-legged dance when she wants attention or feels like showing off. If you’re looking for a quiet, cuddly, easygoing companion who’s great with other pets and happiest snoozing the day away, Junior might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in Junior, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450.
