Story
Bubble Boy may be small, but his story is big. This little geriatric Maltese mix has clearly had it rough. When he arrived, he was severely matted, uncomfortable, and in pain, carrying the weight of long-term neglect on his tiny frame. But beneath the tangles and tenderness is a gentle soul who is finally getting his chance to feel safe. He's gotten a haircut and is ready to find himself a foster or adopter to help him spend his golden years in the comfort of a home. Despite all he’s been through, Bubble Boy has a quiet sweetness about him. He may be unsure at first — and who could blame him? — but with slow, gentle care, he leans in just a bit closer, showing us that his heart is still open and hopeful. 💛 What Bubble Boy Needs This special senior needs an adopter who can offer: Patience and sensitivity as he decompresses A calm, loving home free of chaos Regular grooming to keep him comfortable moving forward Ongoing veterinary care and lots of TLC as he heals and regains comfort Right now, Bubble Boy isn’t ready for long walks or big adventures. What he needs most is someone who can give him warmth, security, and the chance to finally relax. We wouldn't recommend him to live with kids, but think he could live with another animal that isn't too high energy and just coexists with him.

Story
Pip is a very curious and super playful dog, he loves to play fetch and will bring the toy of his daily choice (he rotates through all of them) to throw it for him, we haven't discovered what is the maximum amount of time he can do it for, he has quite the stamina. He loves going on walks and does not pull the leash, he can spend a long time in just one spot sniffing and carefully exploring. He is super motivated by food, and if he can see his food on the counter, he will constantly stare at it. Once he warms up to people, he is very affectionate and gets quickly attached. He loves to snuggle, and just be close to people, but his safe space is his little dog bed, he will climb in when it is time to go to sleep or whenever he wants to take a nap during the day.
