Thankfully, the smile is back on her face and her tail is wagging again. After a wonderful spa day, Soleen is feeling beautiful and proud to be a princess again—something she hasn’t felt nearly often enough during her four years. Soleen is a sweet, social girl who is ready for a lifetime of consistent spa days, gentle care, and true love. This precious princess deserves her happily-ever-after! Soleen is also one of our Special Ambassador Dogs, which means her adoption fee is a little higher—for good reason. Her fee helps support other dogs in our rescue who have greater medical expenses or specialized care needs, giving them the same opportunity to find loving homes and happy endings. 🐾 MEET GIMLI — 3 YEARS OLD • 15 LBS • SHIH TZU 🐾 Gimli is a sweet, independent little guy with plenty of Shih Tzu personality packed into 15 pounds. ❤️ He loves his toys, takes his nightly Greenie VERY seriously, and will happily show off his “sit” when treats are involved. He’s also got a mischievous streak, but thankfully he responds well to “leave it” when his curiosity gets the better of him. 😂 One of Gimli’s cutest quirks is his little grunt when he needs something—especially when it’s time for a potty break. And when he’s feeling extra loving, he’ll gently put his paw on you as his own special way of saying, “I love you.” 🥹❤️ During the day, Gimli is perfectly content snoozing nearby while you work. But if a dog walks past or a deer dares enter his line of sight, Neighborhood Watch Gimli immediately reports for duty! 😂 Gimli would do best in a calm, adult home where he can feel secure and build trust at his own pace. He has trust issues with children, so a home without kids will be the best fit. He also considers cats something to chase, so no cats for this little guy. If you’re looking for a sweet, quirky companion who’s independent enough to do his own thing but still has his own adorable ways of showing how much he loves you, Gimli may be your guy. 🐾❤️
