Lilac is a sweet and affectionate Havanese mix who forms deep bonds with her people and blossoms once she feels safe. While she can be anxious in new settings and may need a little extra time to settle in, her gentle nature shines through as she gains confidence. She has lived with other small dogs before and may enjoy a calm canine companion but has no known history with cats. Lilac is still working on her leash skills and basic manners, so will thrive with a patient family of adults or teens 13 and up who can support her with kindness and steady encouragement as she builds confidence. With the right family, Lilac will blossom into a loving, loyal member of the home. Little man came to the rescue after his owner sadly passed away, and he has been anxiously awaiting his forever home since that time. Little Man is such a sweet boy. Little man is a little slow to warm up, but once he does, he will be your constant shadow. He is the perfect lap dog who wants nothing more than endless cuddles. He would likely do best in a home with someone home more often than not. He is very awkward when picked up (his foster mom describes this as sloth mode), so he will likely do best in a home with older children, if any. Little man struggles with food allergies, which is maintained by his protein-specific diet (no sneaking treats).
