Story
Zoey is a 5-year-old Shih-Tzu/Terrier mix. She is a social and sweet little girl. Zoey loves attention and seems to like the company of everyone. A house with adults and/or dog savvy kids ages eight and up would be fine for her. Zoey does well with other dogs and enjoys a game of chase with them in the yard, but does not like rough and tumble play. She also seems to do well with confident cats. She would probably not do well with smaller critters (guinea pigs, birds) as she wants to chase them. Zoey walks well on a leash and her potty training is going very well. She has some very endearing traits including smiling when she is happy and when she wants attention (seriously… she smiles) and she will watch the television and is very curious when she hears/sees a dog on the TV. Zoey is a little energetic during car rides (wanting to look out ALL the car windows) so a safety harness or crate would be best during car travel. She can be a bit vocal so apartment life would probably not be a good fit for her. While a home with a fenced yard would be wonderful, it is not a requirement as long as she gets regular walks and exercise. Zoey is spayed, had a dental, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Zoey’s adoption fee is $350.00

Story
Sprout is a little over a year old and weighs just about 6 pounds—a tiny sweetheart who is happiest curled up exactly where she belongs: in your lap. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her just a few minutes and her personality quickly blooms. Before long she’ll be rolling over for tummy rubs and happily soaking up all the affection she can get. Sprout is house trained, cat friendly, and does well with other small dogs, though she hasn’t been around larger dogs yet. At bedtime she may give a tiny protest about going into her crate, but after a few minutes she settles in and relaxes. Sprout is missing her back left paw, but you’d never know it by the way she moves through the world—it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She zooms around the house, manages stairs like a champ, and easily hops on and off the couch or bed. When she’s not cuddling, Sprout enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, chewing on her favorite little bone, and spending much of her day snoozing like the professional napper she is. Small, resilient, and full of love, Sprout is ready to grow into someone’s perfect little companion. Sprout is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Sprout’s adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Little Bit is a 5-year old Shih-Tzu/Terrier mix. She is a darling girl with the cutest little under bite. Little Bit adores her people, highly enjoys snuggles and lap time, loves going for walks and excels at doing zoomies in the backyard. She is a bit of an athlete and can jump up onto things with ease and is still learning this is not always appropriate behavior. Her car riding skills are a work in progress and a safety harness or crate would be best for her when traveling. Little Bit has pretty good potty skills and seems to know to use a potty pad if no one is around to let her outside to go. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with another canine companion in the home who likes to play. Little Bit sometimes likes to share her opinions regarding delivery drivers, unknown dogs, and unfamiliar noises. Because of this, apartment life would not be a good fit. A home with a secure fenced yard (no gaps) at least 4 feet high is preferred for her as she can be too curious for her own good and may take herself on an adventure if given an opportunity to do so. Little Bit would also prefer a home where the people are home more often than not. She is a very nice little dog and will be a wonderful new family member. Little bit is spayed, had a dental, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Little Bit’s adoption fee is $350.00
