Jayna is a senior gal with a face only a mother (or her forever family!) could love — and once you meet her, you’ll see just how easy it is to fall in love. She’s recovering beautifully from a skin infection, and while she’s missing a bit of hair now, it’s already growing back as she heals. Despite her rough start, Jayna’s gentle spirit shines through. This shy girl is happiest when she’s close to her person — a true “shadow dog” who loves nothing more than to snuggle on the couch or curl up in your lap. She gets along well with cats and other dogs and has a quiet, easygoing temperament that makes her a wonderful little companion. Jayna enjoys short play sessions, is learning to walk on a leash, and is doing great with her house training. Jayna may not be a show dog, but what she lacks in glamor, she makes up for in heart. She’s ready to melt into someone’s arms and finally get the love and comfort she deserves.
