Like many puppy mill survivors, she is still learning that the world can be a safe, loving place — and watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. This adorable little sweetheart absolutely loves toys, stuffies, chew bones, and playing with her foster dog siblings. One of Jovie’s favorite things is curling up in a cozy dog bed after a fun play session with her canine friends. While she has a lower energy level overall, she still enjoys playful bursts of fun and is starting to discover how exciting life outside the puppy mill can truly be. Jovie can be shy when meeting new people and needs a patient family willing to let her build trust at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, her curious and gentle personality starts to emerge more and more each day. She has especially begun bonding with the women in her foster home and enjoys quietly hanging out nearby, watching the world around her. She also does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys children, even showing curiosity and gentleness around her young foster sibling.
