This cutie is Chance. He is currently a littler over a month old, and weighs approximately 4 lbs! He's just a wee wittle baby. We think he may be a Chihuahua mix*, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Chance is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. Charles is just the happiest little guy. He absolutely loves people and wants nothing more than to be close to you, soaking up attention, cuddles, and giving lots of kisses. He’s playful, silly, and full of energy, but also very sweet and affectionate. He’s the kind of dog who will happily run around playing and then curl right up in your lap when he’s ready to relax. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there!
