Story
Hi, I'm Vanilla! 🐶✨A little lovebug with a big heart, ready to start a brand new chapter — maybe with you?I'm a 2-year-old girl, full of energy, love, and second chances. I didn’t always have it easy — I was left behind at an oyster factory in Tongyeong, forgotten and alone. Even after having four puppies, no one looked out for me… but that’s all in the past now. I was rescued, and ever since, I've been learning how beautiful life can be when you’re loved. Now I know how to trust, how to play, and most of all — how to love back. I’ve even picked up some smart tricks like “sit,” “paw,” and “go to your house!” Not bad, right?I’m super friendly and absolutely adore people — men and women alike. I haven’t met many young children yet, and since I’m pretty bouncy and energetic, I might do best with older kids who can match my vibe.Other dogs? LOVE them. I get excited to meet new furry friends and will happily introduce myself first! I haven’t met any cats yet, so I can’t say how we’d get along, but I don’t have any aggression or prey drive — I’m more about snuggles and zoomies than anything else.I’m still working on leash training, and I’m not totally used to living indoors yet, but I’m a quick learner. If you show me the way, I’ll follow. I’m a good girl with my barking, too — I might bark when someone new comes in or if I’m really excited, but if you say “no,” I usually settle down quickly.I love being touched, hugged, and cuddled, especially by women. I’ll even give you gentle hugs to show you how much I care. With male guardians, I’m respectful — if you’re not in the mood for snuggles, I’ll understand and give you space. I enjoy toys but I don’t destroy things in the house, and I’m not possessive over food or toys either. Sharing is caring, right?Health-wise, I’m in great shape — no major illnesses in my past, just a whole lot of resilience and a heart full of love. Now all that’s missing is a forever family. A warm home. A couch to cuddle on. A person — or people — who will never leave me behind again.Could that be you?I’m ready to be your joy, your companion, and your sunshine.Let’s write our story together. 💛With love,Vanilla

Story
My name is Lucas, and I’m a 4-year-old male Jack Russell Terrier × Welsh mix weighing around 10kg. I have a compact, sturdy body — but my short little legs are what everyone notices first. People often say I look extra adorable when I walk, and I think it’s because every step I take naturally makes people smile. 😊 For a long time, I lived in a shelter. I was rescued just before euthanasia, and since then I’ve been given a second chance at life. Now I’m staying in a training facility where I’m slowly learning what the world is like outside the shelter. Everything still feels new to me — other dogs playing freely, interesting smells on walks, toys, and especially kind human attention. It’s almost like I’m finally experiencing what it means to just be a dog. Because I’m discovering so much for the first time, I get very curious about everything around me. But there are also things I still need help understanding. Sometimes, if a hand suddenly reaches over my head or someone touches me unexpectedly, I can get scared and react defensively. In those moments, it may look like I’m trying to bite, but it’s really just fear — a way for me to protect myself when I feel unsure. When people take time to approach me gently, that behavior becomes much less, and my true personality starts to show. Because deep down… I’m actually a very sweet and affectionate boy. 💛 I just need time. What I need most is not quick bonding, but patience and understanding. If you let me come to you at my own pace instead of forcing touch or rushing interactions, I will slowly begin to trust you. It helps a lot when people approach me from the side or below rather than reaching over my head, and when they use calm voices and positive experiences to help me feel safe. Once I trust someone, I become a completely different dog — I love attention, I follow my person around, and I show a very affectionate and playful side. I also need time to adjust because I haven’t really experienced normal home life before. A house, daily routines, leash walking in neighborhoods, being alone for short periods, and house training — all of these are still new to me. At first, I may feel nervous or make mistakes, but that’s not bad behavior. It’s just me learning how to live in a home. What helps me grow is guidance, not punishment. With a stable routine, regular walks, and positive reinforcement, I can gradually build confidence and feel more secure. I’m smart and curious, and with the right support, I learn step by step at my own pace. In the beginning, it’s really important for me to have a calm environment and not too much overwhelming stimulation. If I’m given space and time to feel safe, I will slowly open my heart. And when I do, I will stay by your side with all my loyalty and love. I may not be the easiest dog at first, but I promise I have a heart that is ready to love deeply once I feel safe. I’m Lucas — a small dog with short legs, a long journey behind me, and a big hope for a forever family who will understand me and walk with me at my own pace. 🐾 Lucas

Story
Hi, my forever family! My name is Saebom, and I’m a sweet 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix girl. I weigh about 13.2 lbs (6 kg), and I’m currently waiting for the family who will love me forever. 🐾 My story started in a quiet rural village, where my sibling Sandeul and I were left behind. One day, a grandmother left us there, and suddenly, we lost the family we knew. I didn’t understand why we had been left behind, but thankfully, I was rescued and brought to the Dream Tails Adoption Center, where I’m now safe and waiting for a new beginning. Even though I’ve been through a big change, I haven’t lost my love for people. 🤍 I’m a very affectionate and people-loving girl. I usually warm up to new people quite quickly, and I love spending time with humans. If you give me a little attention and affection, I’ll happily stay close and enjoy being with you. I also really like other dogs! 🐶💕 I’m social and enjoy playing with my furry friends, so having doggy friends around can be lots of fun for me. And there’s one more thing you should know about me… I LOVE FOOD! 😋 I’m not a picky eater at all, so mealtime is always something I look forward to. If there’s something delicious being served, you can count on me to be very interested! I’m also a pretty good walker. 🐕🌿 I enjoy going outside and exploring, and I think going on walks with my forever family will be one of my favorite ways to spend time together. There are so many new smells and places for me to discover! Because nobody knows exactly what my life was like before I was rescued, I’m still learning some of the things that come with living in a home. When I first arrive at my new family’s house, I may need some time to understand the new routine, and I might have a potty accident or two while I’m adjusting. If I’m left alone for long periods, I may also experience some separation anxiety as I get used to being away from my family. But I’m only one year old, so I have plenty of time to learn. With patience, consistency, and gentle guidance, I believe I can adjust to my new life and learn all the things I need to know. 🤍 I’m not looking for a perfect family who expects me to know everything right away. I’m looking for a family who will teach me, be patient with me, and celebrate my little progress along the way. I already have so many wonderful qualities. I love people, I get along well with other dogs, I love my food, and I enjoy going for walks. I just need someone to give me the chance to learn what it means to be part of a family. I used to be a little girl who was left behind in a rural village. Now, I’m hoping to become something much more special: Someone’s beloved daughter. Someone’s best friend. Someone’s forever family member. 🌸🤍 I’m ready to leave my past behind and start my new life. Will you be the family who gives me my happily ever after? 🐾
