Story
First off, we have failed Rocket. We don’t have time to give her the training and attention she needs to thrive. Rocket is a good dog, she has some bad habits and has responded well to training. We have 2 little kids and Rocket has turned out to need extra training. To outline some of the things Rocket needs to work on: She gets on the table and eats food when given the opportunity, she has trouble with recall and will take off given an opening. She comes back in 5-10 min IF she is not chased. She will sometimes go to the bathroom in the house which we think is attention seeking. Rocket has shown some aggression towards very small kids under 2, but we think would do great with older kids. Rocket needs someone that can dedicate some serious time and training to. She needs more activity, she’s very fast hence her name and would do well with someone that can devote a lot of play time with her. She is a very sweet dog to us, but isn’t consistent w/the kids.

Tucker is a Male Wirehair Terrier mix DOB: September of 2025 Adoption fee: $175 I am a super excited boy. I am very anxious at the shelter. I am always ready to go for walks or engage in playtime. Pending a meet and greet, I should do well with another dog in my new home who is looking for a playmate. I have not been tested with cats at this time. I do have a lot of energy and may bark while crated, I am not suited for apartment life. I will require a physically fenced yard. I am affectionate, and very sweet. I would do well with an active family with older children 8 years or older pending observed interaction. I currently weigh about 28 pounds but should not exceed 35 pounds as a full adult. I will make an excellent walking buddy. I am smart, food motivated and would possibly love disc golf or agility. Maybe just playing fetch in the back yard and then chilling out under the shade tree with my new family. So many wonderful possibilities, I just need a family to share them with.
