Story
Raccoon – The Little Bandit With a Gentle Heart Don’t be fooled by the name — Raccoon may look like a tiny masked bandit, but his personality is all sweetness. At just 10 months old, this handsome boy already has a wonderfully peaceful nature. Raccoon can be a little shy at first and prefers a calm, quiet environment where he can feel safe and take his time getting to know new people. But once he settles in, his playful side begins to appear. He loves gentle playtime and exploring, balanced with plenty of cozy moments relaxing nearby. His soft fur and striking markings make him look just like a little raccoon — and it’s part of the charm that makes everyone fall in love with him. Raccoon is also the brother to Tiger, and like many siblings, he enjoys companionship and a comfortable home where he can feel secure. If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly shy kitten with a peaceful personality and a playful spark, Raccoon might just steal your heart. March 10, 2026, 6:42 pm

Story
Meet Edelweiss, affectionately known as Edie, the sassy yet regal queen of our Sanctuary. With her dilute calico point Siamese coat and crystal blue eyes, she's a supermodel of a cat, exuding elegance and grace. When she's around too many feline companions, she can get overstimulated, but with people, she's an absolute sweetheart. She's cuddly, enjoys being held, and will make you feel like you're the center of her universe. This bougie beauty has also been through a lot. Edie is an FIP survivor. FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) is a serious virus that requires a lot of effort to treat. But thanks to the tireless care she received at Kitten Rescue, Edie kicked FIP to the curb and is ready to take on a new kingdom. She does have food allergies and requires a specialized diet, and she's currently undergoing immunotherapy to help with allergy-related skin issues. That hardly interrupts her ability to rule her world - or to rule yours. Edie will thrive as a single cat, and she prefers a calm environment without small children or other animals. She has been with us for several years, patiently waiting for her forever home where she can reign supreme and receive all the love and attention she deserves. Could you be the devoted soul to give Edie the fine china treatment and make her the queen of your heart? **Edie is being sponsored by the Special Souls Feline Foundation, who will cover all of her medical/food expenses up to $10,000 https://www.specialsoulsfelinefoundation.org/ Please contact the foster at manager@kittenrescue.org

Story
Barney is like a huggable polar bear! If you want a cat that will cuddle with you on a rough day, he’s your guy. Not only that, but he would be an excellent addition to a household with a cat already present due to his playful nature. The introduction period for him was very short because he was so eager and curious to meet my cat and explore the apartment. He has good bathroom habits and eats both wet & dry food. Take the leap and adopt Barney! Please contact the foster at ez.maliki5@gmail.com

Story
Hannah is a stunning young Snowshoe girl with striking blue eyes and a personality that is just as beautiful as her looks. She is a loving and affectionate kitten who enjoys gentle attention and quiet companionship. When meeting new people, Hannah can be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience she warms up and shows her sweet, gentle nature. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys affection and being close to her people, making her a wonderful companion for a calm and loving home. As a kitten, Hannah developed Calicivirus, and from time to time she may experience mild flare-ups that can cause eye discharge. Despite this, she is a happy, playful girl who enjoys life. Hannah must be adopted into a home with another friendly cat, or she can be adopted together with one of her foster siblings. Having a feline friend helps her feel secure and gives her a buddy to play and cuddle with. If you do not currently have a cat at home, her foster parent would be happy to recommend other foster cats that Hannah is buddies with. If you’re looking for a beautiful kitten with a loving personality, Hannah may be the perfect match. You’re invited to schedule a meet and greet to meet her in person and see just how special she is. Story
Melody is a gentle, sensitive soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She’s very shy and will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. In a quiet home and at her own pace, Melody will slowly begin to come out of her shell. While she isn’t ready for affection right away, she may eventually accept soft pets once she feels comfortable—and the journey to earning her trust is a deeply rewarding one. Treats can be a helpful way to connect with Melody, and she’ll often gather her courage when a tasty snack is involved. Her true happiness, though, shines brightest around other cats. Melody absolutely adores feline friends—she loves to cuddle up close, share warmth, and gently headbutt her companions as a sign of affection. Because of this, Melody will need a home with another friendly, social cat who enjoys companionship and will welcome her snuggles. With a confident kitty buddy by her side and a patient human to give her the time she needs, Melody has the potential to blossom into a quietly loving companion.
