Story
Meet Molly, a beautiful, gray and white Snowshoe with big, round, green eyes and a gentle disposition. Molly was still just a kitten herself when she was abandoned outside to fend for herself. She got pregnant and delivered 5 gorgeous kittens. When her babies were around 4 weeks of age, a good samaritan reached out for help and found a foster who's done a great job caring for the precious family. At first, Molly was very shy and fearful since living on the mean streets at such a young age. But with excellent socialization techniques by her foster mom, she's learned how to trust and even play with her kittens - like a littermate! Molly LOVES to be pet, scratched and brushed and will begin purring upon contact. She'll need an adopter who'll know how to care for a longer-haired cat. Ideally, we'd like her to be placed in a loving home with her, mini me, Red - but we'd be open to a home where she would have another companion cat. You'll find her full rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #33 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including video and photo updates on ALL our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her adoption video and fall in L-O-V-E!! Molly's adoption will include her: * Spay surgery, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Microchipping ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making this stunning girl a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! *** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates). Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

Story
Meet Edelweiss, affectionately known as Edie, the sassy yet regal queen of our Sanctuary. With her dilute calico point Siamese coat and crystal blue eyes, she's a supermodel of a cat, exuding elegance and grace. When she's around too many feline companions, she can get overstimulated, but with people, she's an absolute sweetheart. She's cuddly, enjoys being held, and will make you feel like you're the center of her universe. This bougie beauty has also been through a lot. Edie is an FIP survivor. FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) is a serious virus that requires a lot of effort to treat. But thanks to the tireless care she received at Kitten Rescue, Edie kicked FIP to the curb and is ready to take on a new kingdom. She does have food allergies and requires a specialized diet, and she's currently undergoing immunotherapy to help with allergy-related skin issues. That hardly interrupts her ability to rule her world - or to rule yours. Edie will thrive as a single cat, and she prefers a calm environment without small children or other animals. She has been with us for several years, patiently waiting for her forever home where she can reign supreme and receive all the love and attention she deserves. Could you be the devoted soul to give Edie the fine china treatment and make her the queen of your heart? Please contact the foster at manager@KittenRescue.org

Story
Saylah is not only gorgeous but she is loving and affectionate as well. She is not shy about climbing into your lap to get attention and pets. She also likes to perch herself on the shoulders of her foster mom and groom herself and her foster mom. Saylah loves to sit in the cat tree beside the window and take naps or watch birds fly by. She is a very sweet girl that gave birth to many litters of kittens before she was rescued and spayed. Now she is in search of a forever home that will spoil and care for her the way she took care of so many of her babies. Saylah would prefer to live in a single-pet home. You are invited to meet this beauty and see if she is the right kitty companion for you. For more information, please contact carmen@kittenrescue.org.

Story
Dobby is a sweet 2-3 year old male cat that loves to play around and snuggle. He was adopted from the shelter last year but was not a good match with the male cat that the adopter originally had at home. Dobby is a young cat so he loves to play and wrestle but the other cat is a senior with asthma so Dobby would do best in a home with cats who can match his energy and love for play.

Story
Hi Everyone - Meet Noble ! This handsome snowshoe siamese is absolutely gorgeous! His markings are incredible and look at his striking blue eyes. This little 1 yr old boy came to us broken and we weren't sure if he would make it. He was hit by a car and left to perish on the street. A good Samaritan found him and brought him to us. We had him checked out by our vet and yep - broken pelvis and a few other scraps and bruises - poor guy! Crate rest for 8 weeks while on the mend and a few weeks later - rehab! now he's as good as titanium! He is perfectly normal and all healed so no worries for medical. Nobel is very distinguish gentleman and a charmer who loves affection and attention. He may talk to you a little in his sweet voice and add a couple purrs along with a little drool as you rub his chin. If you are looking for a one handsome man - meet Nobel and he does like other furballs.

Adopting a Snowshoe
