Meet Quinn, an 11-year-old DSH neutered male. He is a Snowshoe mix with soft fur and beautiful markings. Quinn came to Safe Place when his owner was moved to Memory Care due to Alzheimer's. Quinn was initially very thin and had not had a recent vet exam. We took him to one of our partner vets for a Senior Wellness exam. We discovered he has limited vision and some arthritis, but otherwise he was given a clean bill of health. In spite of his vision, he gets around very well, is very affectionate and is what we refer to as a "love bug". That means he likes nothing more than to sit in your lap and be loved. Buddy is a senior cat approximately 12 years old. He had a kitty sister his whole life up until last year when we had to put her down. He has been around dogs for the past 9 years and gets along well with them. I have made the difficult decision to rehome him as there have been some changes in my life. He deserves a loving home. I feel he would probably do best if there was another cat in the home or even a dog that is cat friendly (he likes to cuddle up with my husky).
