Hey there, my name is Louie. I am a Snowshoe mixed breed, plush, larger male kitty, with huge blue eyes. I'm a very stunning, handsome guy, with the cream-colored fur, striping on my back, and very thick, soft fur and tail to match. Snowshoes are known for their affectionate and bond strongly with their owners. Confident, intelligent, sociable, and bond deeply with their owners. I am around 8-years old. The average well cared, indoor kitty lives to be 14 to 18-years old these days. I have a large amount of affection and time to share with my next family. I do enjoy cat nip mice and balls to chase around. I would be ok as a single kitty, or with other kitties, or a cat-friendly dog. I am available for adoption because my previous owners were elderly. My Mom passed away, and my Dad was placed into a nursing home. My other two furry cat friends and the dog all needed to leave immediately and the family did not want us. The rescue took us kitties in to avoid placement in a shelter. I am in a private foster home, neutered, all vaccines are current, and I am micro-chipped, which is an added perk adopting from Snow Camp! Sara and her best buddy Sophie 2 were surrendered to the Goathouse in the summer of 2023, and at first, they both were very fearful and heartbroken at having lost the only family they’d ever known. Under the patient, loving care of the staff at the Goathouse, both Sophie and Sara have begun to shed some of their shyness, and we hope to find them a wonderful, true forever home where they can live out their golden years. Noelle was rescued from a local business around Christmas 2022.  She was diagnosed with allergies and is currently taking an allergy pill every day.  She takes her meds well in a pill pocket mixed with her canned food.  She enjoys petting and rubbing her foster parents legs, but she does not get along with other cats.  She  does tolerate her sister Holly.  Noelle is a tortie-point Siamese with prominent tortie points.  She would probably be best in a home without small children or dogs. ##1605326##
