Story
Toast is an estimated 5–7 years old. He was living as a handsome neighborhood tomcat before I brought him into my home 2½ months ago. Toast is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being with his people. He's goofy and silly and will happily stomp down the hallway for treats. He loves feather and mouse wand toys and needs playtime throughout the day. He also loves a cardboard scratcher and cat nip. He's very food and treat motivated so he may even enjoy learning a few tricks!Toast loves wet food three times a day. He loves getting under the covers at night for a snuggle.  He loves going outside on a harness and would love a secure yard or enclosed patio where he can safely explore. He would likely do well with respectful older children who understand cat boundaries. While he hasn't been directly introduced to my four resident cats he's been curious and calm through a baby gate. With slow introductions I believe he could do well with another relaxed non territorial cat or a calm dog.

Story
What my friends at OHS say about me:I may be a mature lady, but I have a young spirit! I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am!Give me Churu treats and pets and you will be my new favorite person.Brace yourself! I lean super hard into pets and I might just flop over if you take your hands off me.I have been described as "aggressively affectionate" because I headbutt so hard and demand all of your attention.Looking for a conversation partner? I'm quite chatty!Caution: I will steal your heart!Overstimulation: I enjoy interacting with people, but petting can easily become overwhelming and unpleasant for me. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways, including biting, and need an owner who pays close attention to my body language.I guess you could say I'm pretty "down-to-earth" - I like my feet on the floor! I can be sensitive to being picked up and held. I am deaf and may need extra care and training while getting settled into my new home and family. The type of home I'm looking for:I would prefer to be the only cat in the home. If I do go to a home with resident cats, slow introductions and having my own space will be important for me to adjust. I am not for the first time cat owner. Someone very familiar with feline body language is a must for me.It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Primary Color: Seal Bicolor Weight: 8.9 Age: 16yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Mojik is super sweet and loves to be with people once he's used to his new situation. Mojik will hang out with you pretty much all day, unless he is taking a nap. He is like a big bear and he is so sweet, everyone who has met him so far has been taken by his wonderful disposition, he is very lovable. He recently went thru some unknown circumstances and ended up coming back to SCC via his microchip. A senior bloodwork panel was done and even though he has a heart murmur (3/6) and his thyroid level is slight elevated, he is healthy overall. Mojik has all his shots, is neutered, FeLV/FIV tested (negative), microchipped, and ready for a home where he will be loved as much as he deserves in his golden years! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.August 8, 2026, 12:25 am
