Persephone is a 6 month old Snowshoe Siamese with a heart full of love and a purr that never quits. She can be a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she is all in. She loves curling up in your lap, purring like a motorboat, and soaking up all the attention.She gets along well with other cats and would thrive with a feline friend, though she could also do well as an only cat with a patient adopter. She is currently fostered with her sister Artemis, and while they enjoy each other’s company, they do not need to go home together.Persephone would likely be fine with respectful kids 5 plus and cat savvy dogs with proper introductions. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
