Nellie is an adorable Siamese snowshoe mix, approx 3 years old, who was rescued with her siblings in a Hixson neighborhood. She is sweet but very shy. She loves her brother Nigel and wants to be adopted with him. She will need an adopter with patience who can spend time socializing her and her brother. They need a quiet adult home. Baby Blue is a very sweet Siamese Snowshoe mix, approx. 6 years old, who was rescued from a hoarding situation in Red Bank. After the people moved away she was left outside with several other cats. The caretaker said she didn't belong outside and she needed an indoor only home. Unfortunately she tested positive for FIV. Cats with FIV can live a long and normal life and are not contagious to other cats, dogs or people. It is spread by deep bite wounds when cats fight or mate. As long as they are not aggressive they can live with negative cats. Baby Blue is sweet and gentle and a tad shy and just wants someone to love her. EMAIL: JPECATz@aol.com for an application.

Good with cats: Toast would prefer to be the only kitty, but yes, as always a proper slow introduction will be required as with any other kitties being introduced to a home. Litter box trained: She's working really hard on training, does well in small spaces but has some accidents when open to full house as she has some anxiety! Meet Toast! Toast was found abandoned and left to fend for herself. We quickly took her in and worked on finding her a home. Toast was adopted, but has since been surrendered as the home is not the right fit for her. Toast has anxiety and needs a more calm and quiet environment to thrive vs the busy home she is in now. Toast does well with other kitties that are mild in behavior. She 100% poops in the litter box but sometimes has pee accidents if overwhelmed. She does very well when she is in a smaller space with all of her things and does not have potty accidents in those settings. Toast is affectionate and sweet! She enjoys being pet, playing and eating all the snacks! Lounging in the sun is a great past time and she is just a great cat overall!
