About Me
Minxy and Mochi are a brother and sister bonded pair seeking a purrrsonal assistant. This role is dynamic, requiring the human to have warm hands for head scritches and the ability to rapidly open cans of food. They both love to try new snacks (will steal your food) and meet new people (will steal your spouse, all your friends, and even your parasocial internet relationships). Mochi announces her entry into every room. In your role as purrrsonal assistant, you will say “So sayeth the Queen!” She is a chatterbox. Minxy is the Queen’s brother. He is NOT the king, he is NOT the prince, he is NOT in charge. He’s a quiet guy who likes snuggles and head boops.
Both are very confident and adaptive. They do many of the typical Sphynx cat behaviors like ask for blanket forts, play in water, and fully take over all human personal space. Bonus Sphynx shenanigans: Minxy knows how to turn on sinks, Mochi knows how to use the human toilet.
Ideal home: Breed experience strongly preferred. Minxy has “elf” style ears that require additional cleaning. Ideal home can enforce health and safety rules around human food vs cat food. They are both unabashed human food snatchers with raccoon energy. Balance the higher metabolic needs of the breed with their unhinged bacchanalian palates. They are complete menaces in the kitchen. They have lived with dogs. Fostered with other cats. They get along with everyone they meet. They like children. They are totally comfortable with a busy household with a lot of people coming in and out. Mochi believes every visitor has come to bow before Her Majesty. Minxy hopes every newcomer is DoorDash.
WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means all of our pets are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota.
