Hi, I’m Cisco! I may be new here, but I’m no stranger to shelter life. I’ve been waiting for my family since December 2025, and I’m really hoping my person is out there looking for me!
I’m an easygoing, extremely loving, and loyal boy who absolutely adores my people. I’m attentive, affectionate, and happiest when I’m right by your side. I’m the kind of dog who will rest his head on your lap after a long day, follow you from room to room just to be close, and greet you with those soft eyes that say it all.
I’m also an excellent walking buddy! I walk nicely on leash and would love to join you for morning walks, adventures, and plenty of exploring. I’ve put on a few extra pounds while waiting for my family, so I’m ready to start a fitness journey with someone who can help me get back to a healthy weight. Treats are one of my favourite things, though, so we’ll have to find the right balance!
When I’m not out walking, you can find me enjoying car rides, cuddles, treats, and showing my people just how much I love them.
I would do best in a home without cats or small dogs because I do have a prey drive. I may be open to living with another dog, but I would need to meet them first to make sure we’re a good match. I absolutely love people and would be happy to be part of a family with children.
One thing my new family should know is that I like to mark my territory. When I first arrive somewhere new, I’ll need consistent guidance and supervision to help me understand that marking isn’t appropriate in the home. I’m a smart boy who really wants to please, so we’re confident I’ll catch on quickly with patience and consistency.
I’m neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’ve been waiting a long time for someone to finally choose me.
