Story
Gord is a purebred 8.5 year old short haired St. Bernard. He is great with kids, friendly in general, and a lot of dog to have around the house.Gord is not great with other dogs until he gets to know them. He can be aggressive towards dogs out on a walk, but he does follow commands while on leash. He has had no problems with the border collie he used to live with, or the golden retriever at my ex's parents house.Gord needs a lot of attention, he needs daily brushing and weekly nail trimming, as well as ear cleaning. He needs a home with some space to roam, although he mostly enjoys sleeping and eating.I am sad to put him up for adoption, but I'm not capable of giving him the care he needs and deserves. My ex partner was the dog lover in the family, and she had spent time at home caring for him and our kids and other dog, but when we separated just over a year ago, she was not able to take him. I'm hoping that someone can give him a better life than I am able to.
