Dog’s Name: Bruno Location: Belleville, Il. Age or Date of Birth: 2 yrs Gender: Male Breed: St. Bernard Color: Brown & White Dog's Weight: 150 (approx) Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  All Cats  Kids?: All kids, Older kids, needs slow introduction Training: Leash trained: Walks on loose leash Crate/Kennel: Goes in on his own, but is anxious if the door is closed. Potty trained: We're working on it. Car: Still assessing Meet Bruno – The Giant Sweetheart! Bruno is a big boy with an even bigger heart! This gentle giant is sweet, submissive, and gets along well with other dogs. He’s even been respectful around cats — just a curious sniff and then he's on his way. Bruno is still adjusting to life outside of the pack he came from, which has been a bit of a challenge for him emotionally. He’s showing improvement every day and is slowly gaining confidence and comfort in his new routine. He’ll go into a crate on his own to nap or sleep, but still gets anxious if the door is closed, so his foster family keeps it open to help him feel secure. Bruno is currently working on potty training and basic house manners, and while he’s making progress each day, he’ll do best in a home with someone experienced in handling giant breeds. Due to his size and strength, he needs guidance and structure — and possibly a confident dog companion to help show him the ropes. Bruno's ideal adopter is one who is experienced with large or giant breeds, patient and consistent with training, and one who is always or quite often home as he thrives on companionship..  A fur sibling would be great to provide the additional companionship he craves. Story
Dog’s Name: Betty Location: West Terre Haute, IN Age or Date of Birth: 05/18/2020 Gender: Female Breed: St. Bernard Color: Tricolor Weight: 132 lbs Betty is a 5-year-old sweetheart who’s as cuddly as they come! She’s an affectionate, laid-back girl who absolutely adores belly rubs and snuggles. Despite her size, she’s gentle and well-mannered—and she’s always ready to learn something new. Don’t let her age fool you—Betty still has playful bursts of energy, but she’s just as happy to curl up for a cozy nap after some fun. She’s crate trained and goes to her kennel on command like a pro. She’s also doing great on leash walks! While she can get a little excited and pull at times, she redirects easily and listens well—especially when asked to “sit pretty” for her leash on and off. She’s had no accidents in the house and is used to going potty while on leash. Betty does wonderfully with other dogs and loves kids! We’re not sure about cats yet, but she’s shown an easygoing temperament in most situations. She enjoys being outdoors, loves car rides, and just wants to be where the people are. (Don’t even think about going into the store without her—she’ll wait, but she won’t be happy about it! ) She even makes cleaning up her drool a game—what more could you ask for? Ideal Home:Betty is as adaptable as they come. Whether you're a first-time giant breed owner or a seasoned pro, she’ll fit right in. She’s content to lounge in her crate while her people are at work but will always be ready for love and attention when you’re home. She doesn't require a fenced yard and would thrive in almost any home that offers affection and stability. Bonus points if you're willing to sing her a special version of "Black Betty" with custom lyrics just for her—she swears it makes her tail wag harder! If you're looking for a calm, loving, drool-tolerant best friend, Betty might just be your perfect match. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. Story
HI my name is Koe! I am an 8 month old mix! The shelter I came from believed I am a Saint Bernard mix. I currently weigh 46lbs, and will continue to grow some more. I am a fun loving guy. I love meeting new people, even the little ones. I met a 3 year old and was respectful of her, as she was of me! I am great with other dogs too! My foster mom says I am just full of SMILES! I am very good about going potty outside, and staying in a playpen when I'm left alone. I am looking for a family who loves to smile and enjoy life as much as I do! If you're them, apply today and let's start our lives together! My adoption fee is $500

Story
Charity the Saint Bernard/Newfoundland mix is a year old and a total lovebug! She’s playful and friendly with other dogs and exceptionally sweet with children. She’s just a little social butterfly, happy to greet everyone she meets! She’s a true puppy at heart with energy to run and wrestle, but she already knows her basic commands and is potty trained. She does well in a gated room when left alone, and her leash manners are improving, too! What a smart girl! Charity will thrive in a n active home and would love to have a playful dog buddy to romp with. She’s a big girl, so her future family should be able to confidently manage her size and strength while continuing her training. She would love to join a family with children since she’s a big fan! She loves a good belly rub, playing chase and tug, and curling up for a nap on the couch. She’s a very special dog looking for a special family to call her own, so let us know if she’s the girl for you! Charity's adoption fee is $650 which includes gastropexy.
