Meet Tracie
If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion with the gentlest heart, Tracie is your girl.
Tracie’s journey hasn’t been easy, but her heart remains incredibly soft. She spent several months as a stray in Tennessee, lovingly looked after by kind community members before a family was able to bring her inside as a temporary foster. From there, she made her way to Just Giants—and we are so grateful she did.
The moment you walk up to her, Tracie melts into the floor and rolls over to present her tummy for scratches. It’s her signature move — and it never gets old! She is incredibly docile, affectionate, and content simply being near her people.
Tracie is perfectly happy lounging beside you on the couch or quietly relaxing on her own. She has a peaceful presence that makes a house feel like home. She’s fully potty trained, house trained, and crate trained — a total lady with wonderful manners.
She especially enjoys cool weather and will happily sit outside, calmly taking in the world (or what appears to be absolutely nothing at all). It’s one of her favorite pastimes!
While Tracie is wonderfully calm, she still has a playful spark. If another dog invites her to play, she’s happy to join in with a sweet little burst of energy.
The Perfect Home for Tracie is just about anywhere. She's great for first-time dog owners, calm and easygoing for older adults, unbothered by children, and enjoys other dogs but doesn’t demand constant play. Tracie is the kind of dog who adapts beautifully and asks for very little — just some belly rubs, a cozy spot, and someone to love.
If you’re searching for a steady, gentle companion who will quietly adore you every single day, Tracie is ready to roll over and win your heart.
