Story
Beautiful Bella!  Bella is a 2-year-old Saint Bernard who was abandoned and now needs a new family to call her own.  It takes her a while to warm up to new dogs but she appears to be fine with submissive males, as she is a dominant female.  She loves attention from people and may do better as the only dog in the family.  She weighs 98 lbs but is still on the thin side, we believe from having puppies.  So she should gain a little more weight to be ideal.  She knows some commands and walks well with an Easywalk harness. We think she would do fine with older children, 8 years and up. Please Note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption. To fill out an online application to adopt this pet, cut and paste this link:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2627/generic Or you can find a link to our online adoption application on our website at www.hartforanimals.org/adopt - or on our Petfinder homepage.  We process applications in the order they are received, therefore, it could take UP TO 2 weeks for us to respond to your application. Please do not send us an inquiry unless you have specific questions. All our dogs/puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, given flea medication, heartworm tested, and given a microchip before going to their new home. ##2011567##

Axel is a 4-year-old unaltered male. He came to the shelter as a stray. Axel is an adorable dog who loves walking and playing with his tennis balls. He seems to do well with other dogs, but a meet and greet is still required.
