Story
Frankie came to us as a stray alongside two other dogs believed to be her siblings. While we were able to gather some possible breed information (Great Pyrenees x St. Bernard), Frankie’s calmer and gentle personality is what truly makes her special. Frankie is a quiet, soft-natured young dog who approaches the world thoughtfully. She takes comfort in familiar faces and routines and is continuing to build confidence as she experiences new situations. With patience and reassurance, she settles in nicely and shows just how sweet and affectionate she can be. Estimated to be between 9 months and 1 year old, Frankie is still learning and growing. She’s intelligent, observant, and responds well to positive reinforcement. Her gentle demeanor makes her a wonderful candidate for a home that values calm companionship and steady guidance. Frankie's adoption fee is $150 with a $100 spay deposit which will be refunded once the adopter provides proof of spay to CHA.

Story
Roscoe came to us as a stray alongside two other dogs believed to be his siblings. While we were able to gather some possible breed information (Great Pyrenees x St. Bernard), Roscoe’s balanced personality is what really stands out. Roscoe is more confident than his sister Frankie, but he’s still gaining confidence in new environments and situations. He’s curious and willing to engage, even when things feel unfamiliar, and with gentle encouragement he continues to make steady progress. His thoughtful nature means he likes a moment to observe before jumping in. Estimated to be between 9 months and 1 year old, Roscoe is still very much a young dog with lots to learn. He’s smart, responsive, and does well with positive reinforcement and consistent routines. With patience and reassurance, Roscoe has all the potential to grow into a confident, well-rounded companion.

Story
Meet Willie! 🐾 Willie is a Great Pyrenees × St. Bernard mix who came to the shelter with his siblings and is now ready to find a family of his very own. As you might expect from his breed mix, Willie is going to be a big, lovable guy with a gentle heart and plenty of growing still to do. Willie is still a young pup, learning about the world and soaking up everything around him. He’s looking for a home that understands large-breed puppies, including the time, training, and patience it takes to help them grow into confident, well-mannered adults. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will grow into a big, devoted dog and be by your side for years to come, Willie could be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Are you looking to welcome a truly big-hearted dog into your life? Then prepare to fall head over paws for Boone, our magnificent St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix! This boy is the definition of a "big friendly giant." At over 100 lbs & still gaining, Boone is searching for a family who can handle his impressive size and even bigger capacity for love. Boone came to us very skinny from a rough living situation where he was crated 18-24 hours a day and not being given necessary medical care (or food, for that matter). Fortunately, he is an incredibly resilient dog who has defied the odds stacked against him! Boone is ready to leave his past behind and find his 'fur'ever home, one that will cherish his loving, goofy personality & give him all the love he's always deserved!

Story
Monroe is a big loving girl! She’s good with cats and certain dogs to an extent (she’s certain dog aggressive). She was raised around children and is good but with old age she’s getting a bit more temperamental and needs to be watched around younger children. Due to her expensive grooming and needing antibiotics due to infection from her hotspots I can no longer care for her efficiently. She is not leash trained well and would need a fenced in yard as she is a runner (she also does not come back easily). Spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
