Story
I love going on walks and do great even when passing other people and dogs as long as my person knows what they are doing and has experience walking dogs. I would be better with someone who has experience with pit type dogs. With the proper introduction, I can get along and be friends with female and neutered male dogs under supervision. I like women more than I do men. I may act suspicious of some men. I like to run around and sniff everything in the yard. I like to do the zoomies if you get excited with me. I know how to play tuggie but I have to be in the mood. I also like to chase sticks and chew on them. I like to get petted but I’m not the cuddly type. I’m potty trained, crate trained and have great leash skills I like hard chewing treat toys and Kongs stuffed with treats and peanut butter. When I was younger I got to do agility classes and I really loved it. I’m good at jumping and climbing over the agility obstacles. I never lived with kids, so I would do better in an all adult family. The dog training classes come with for free! I can't wait to meet my new Family! Interested? Story
Lady is 5 years old. I adopted her from Gridley, CA when she was a puppy with my ex-husband at the time. I am looking to rehome her because I am currently a full time college student in graduate school obtaining my doctorates. After my separation with my ex-husband, it became difficult to care for Lady on my own. My father, who was looking out for her while I am in school went through surgery recently. Due to his condition and old age, he is no longer able to take care of her. My schedule does not allow me to give Lady enough time to care for her, that she wholeheartedly deserves. She is a wonderful and loving dog. She listens well and easily warms up to people.

Story
Good wishes to you, my dear future family. I'm Gladis. My name is Welsh and derives from Gwladus or Gwladys, meaning "princess" or "ruler." And I agree with this: I want to be treated as a princess. I like cuddles with my humans and treats. Shelter staff thinks I will be better as the only dog in the household. While I tolerated the dogs I've met, I didn't care for their company and I preferred to hang out with the people.  Interested in adopting? Tank is a sweet little puppy that will capture you heart and soul with his expressive eyes. He loves to play, spend time with humans, and give lots of kisses. Tank is a gentleman who is eager to please. Tank is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and kid-friendly. He is a social butterfly who loves everything and everyone. He enjoys playing with other dogs, couch time, brushing and tug of war games. Tank is moderate energy and only needs daily play and walks to be happy. Tank does have pulmonic stenosis, which means one of his valves to his heart is a bit too narrow. Tank currently takes daily medication for this condition with his meals. Despite this condition, Tank may live a long, happy life without ever having issues. Tank may also have a reduced lifespan due to this condition. Tank is currently established with a cardiologist at Oakvet in Oakland, but his care could be transferred to another veterinarian if desired. His medication is atenolol and is inexpensive ranging from $5- 40 per month. Tank is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Story
Buttons is an amazing dog unfortunately we have a new house that have pet restrictions and he can't come with us he is full of love and cuddles. He loves very hard. Anyone who adopts him will not regret it this is the first dog I have had that doesn't bark ever only in his sleep when he is dreaming. Buttons is allergic to fleas for life so he have to have his flea supplement every 6 months. He is also allergic to chicken so, please try to keep him from eating chicken. He is a foodie likes his snacks. He needs someone that will give him attention and love. He loves chasing his balls and chewing on bottles lol we try to keep them away from him. Although he has his own bed he will try to get in your bed because loves cuddles. He does need help with walking, he eats his food fast so providing him with a slow feeder bowl will be best. He loves playing dress up. Button is meant to be a housepet not kept outside alone, this will make him sad. We love him & we're sure you will also....
