Story
Sasha is a spunky girl full of life who just wants to enjoy every moment with you. Sasha loves to play and explore and is incredibly confident. She is looking for an active home to play with her multiple times per day. Sasha is an excellent candidate to learn agility as she has incredible confidence and will jump up onto surfaces far above her head if there is only the faintest hope of a food reward. Sasha loves to play with all kinds of toys. She especially loves to rip up stuffed squeaky toys, but she also really loves a nice peanut butter-filled Kong. Sasha loves to run around the yard and will come in like a bat out of hell to jump on you when she gets super excited. When meeting new people, Sasha is the happiest, wiggliest little pibble you have ever seen. She simply cannot get enough booty scratches in with new friends. She also loves belly rubs when the mood hits her just right. Other times she makes the most adorable noises rubbing her back on the ground and grumbling from the satisfaction of it. Check out Sasha's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwkNHHwo6GMw7sx9oQojvmde Sasha would do best as an only dog, but has made other dog friends with very slow introductions. She loves to play with a senior male also in foster care with her, but her play tends to be a bit rough for his age. Her play style is very centered around wrestling. When Sasha first sees another dog, she can be reactive and will bark loudly at them. Sasha is not currently recommended to live with cats due to prey drive. Sasha loves any and all people, but she can be a bit of a wreck-it Ralph when running around hopped up on life, so very small children are not recommended as she would likely knock them down despite her petite size. Sasha knows sit, down, look, and paw. She is crate-trained and house-trained. Sasha is incredibly food motivated and will do just about anything for even the tiniest bit of kibble. Sasha is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. While in rescue care, Sasha also had a mammary mass removed with good margins. The vet has given her a clean bill of health and does not anticipate further issues related to this mass removal. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Sasha to see if she is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application. www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.

Story
Noodle is a quiet cuddle bug that thinks he’s a lap dog. He rarely barks & loves to nap. We adopted Noodle in 2021 from an animal shelter where he had been surrendered by a family that could not afford his eye surgery after a dog attacked him. He has fully healed - he is just always winking 😉 Since he lost his eye to another dog, we are always cautious with him around other dogs as he can get scared if he feels threatened- but he rarely even barks at dogs through our fence. Best as an only dog in the house unless he gets training. As a puppy he loved our cat & learned from the cat’s swipes when to stop playing or chasing him. We work, have a toddler & a baby so we are just spread thin - he deserves more walks and cuddles than we can give. He does fine with kids as long as they know to not taunt with food. He does get excited and run around with zoomies. We really want to find a home that can provide Noodle the love & attention he deserves. We would gift you his gear!

Story
Meet Snoop! He's an affectionate silly dog that loves walks/hikes and hanging out. He's friendly and looking for his forever home. He would make a good travel, hiking and camping buddy. He's done well with other dogs but will chase cats. He's a short stout young man, measuring 14 inches and weighing about 45 lbs. He's crate trained, learning to walk well on a leash, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Story
Creed will be 4 in December 2025. He is still a puppy at heart. He is so loving, caring, and a serious protector of our family. He loves children and people in general, but especially children lol. You will love him as I do. I hate to do this; however, my schedule will not allow me to care for him like I usually do and should.

Story
David Bowie was a rock star...our Bowie is too!He is a super fun, incredibly playful, sweet guy. He had a wonderful day out, as reported by his foster:I had the pleasure of taking Bowie out and he was an absolute rock star the entire day!He let me dress him without any fuss. Loading him in the car was a breeze. He hopped right in, ready for adventure. In the car, he was well-mannered, either laying down or quietly watching the world go by. A five-star passenger. Our first stop was an open field for some fun on a 50-foot-long lead where he was thrilled to have space to run. After playing fetch and running around, he showed signs of tiredness, but in a good way! He heeled by my side, showing how responsive he could be with proper exercise. He was gentle, never jumpy or mouthy, turning into a total cuddle bug, constantly rolling over for belly rubs.Next, we visited the Nugget Market plaza to work on his social skills. He did amazing in a busy environment - calm, responsive, and really attentive.People were complimenting him left and right, calling him a `perfect boy` for how well he listened and settled down, even lying calmy for a bit. He interacted politely with adults and kids and he clearly enjoyed the positive attention. On campus, he walked right beside me, ignoring g squirrels and even passed a cat riding in a backpack without trying to approach.Throughout the day, Bowie received lots of love and encouragement and he truly earned it.He is a wonderful dog who thrives with regular exercise and positive reinforcement. With the right routine, he is incredibly manageable and affectionate.HE REALLY IS A STAR! All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
