Story
This super happy, smiling dog is pilot,#a5619739. He is now Concord ( see what we did there?). He is a sweet amazing 10-year-old staffy that we rescued from the Baldwin Park shelter. He came into the shelter in April and he had some sort of wound on his leg, which was treated by their staff. he is a staff and volunteer favorite. we wanted to pull him but we couldn't find anyone to Foster him. We finally found a Foster and then, literally in the 11th hour, the Foster couldn't take the dog. We happened to get one of our dogs into foster and we were able to take him.  Someone did step up to foster temporarily.  We do nee to find him a forever home. he is simply the best!  he is loving, sweet, gets along with all dogs, is housebroken...what more could you ask for!  adopt today! ##2099886##

Story
We adopted Lola 7 years ago from a shelter, who told us she wasn’t treated the best by her previous owners. She is still a very nervous dog, but incredibly sweet. We do not want to put her back in a shelter so hopefully we can find another loving home for her. She is 10 years old, so technically a senior, but doesn't act old. She is healthy with no problems and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Story
Bella is the kind of dog who gives her whole heart to her people. Full of joy, energy, and pure affection, she’s ready to brighten the next chapter of her life with a family who will adore her as much as she adores them. This 7-year-old Staffy Terrier/Pittie mix (born January 5, 2018) came to Pasadena Humane in January 2025 after her loving owner passed away. She has since been staying with a foster family and has shown that she gets along well with other well behaved dogs. At 65 pounds, Bella is a beautiful black and white sweetheart with a clean bill of health. She’s playful with people, friendly with dogs, and gentle around children. Bella loves life, loves companionship, and loves being part of the family. Bella will thrive in a home without cats and with calm, respectful dogs or as the only pet where she can soak up all the attention she deserves. If you’re ready to give Bella the loving home she’s waiting for, she’s ready to give you her whole heart in return.

Story
Remy is a sweet dog, who is good with kids and other large dogs. He loves nothing more than laying at your feet while you work or watch TV. Potty trained. Does not require walks if you live in a house, but if you live in an apartment, he will need to be walked 3 times a day (2 short 5 minute potty breaks and one 15-30 minute outing a day). We are listing him for a family member who can no longer take care of him due to a severe, life threatening illness. Remy is not good with cats (tries to chase), which is why we cannot keep him. Gets along great with our other dog though. Loves kids (we have a 4 and 7 year old who he follows around the house looking for pets). He would make a great companion for someone who works from home.

Story
BRICK, YOUR ONE-AND-ONLY BEST FRIEND — 7-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, ~65 lbs (Studio City, CA). Loving, calm, low-maintenance, and wonderful with people and kids. Brick is a sweet, gentle companion who loves lounging, sunbathing, and staying close to his person. He’s quiet, house-trained, crate-trained, food-motivated, and knows basic commands (including an adorable twirl for treats!). Brick does best as an only pet. He’s easy at home but a strong boy on the leash, and I have ongoing shoulder/neck issues that make regular walks difficult. I also work downtown four days a week, so he’s spending long days alone. He deserves more interaction and routine than I can give him. Brick is a loving, loyal dog who will thrive with someone who wants one amazing companion. He comes with his bed, bowls, toys, ramp, food, and vet records. If you want a mellow, affectionate best friend, he’d love to meet you. Studio City • Adoption fee: $50

Story
Say hello to Dr. Pepper! He appeared at my front door one day in bad shape, scared, and hungry. My friends and I nursed him back to health, and came to se he was incredibly sweet, docile, trained and just flat-out chill 😎 Now he is healthy, happy, and handsome - but I personally have many hardships and life changes that have brought me to the point - after much prayer and contemplation - that he would have a better life with someone else out there. Some other adjectives for him - - Friendly (loves other dogs and humans, very sweet) - Obedient (95% of the time he obeys any command immediately) - Non-aggressive (he runs from conflict) - Quiet (minimal barking - only when he's really happy!) The vet told us he's between 5-8 years old, but he acts childlike so it feels like he's two! I really want to get him into a great next chapter of his life. Can Dr. Pepper be a part of your family, please?
