Story
Murphy – 2yr Neutered Male Red Nose Staffy,  70lbs, Rabies, DHPPV, Bordetella, De-worming Microchip – Adoption fee $200   DOG FIGHTING IS A FEDERAL CRIME AND IT IS A FELONY IN IDAHO. No animal should be made to suffer or die for the sake of entertainment.  The average dog fight lasts 1-2 hours.  Fighting scars can be found on the face, front legs, hind ends, and thighs. Puncture wounds, swollen faces, and mangled ears are also telltale signs of fighting. If you see dogs with these characteristics, contact law enforcement or animal control immediately. Two dogs were dumped along the freeway at Stateline Idaho on January 30th, 2025.  These two pit bull type dogs were scared, hurt in desperate need of help.  Compassionate humans called Animal Control. FFR stepped in immediately to help with their medical care, getting Connor to Emergency vet and on some excellent antibiotics to clear up raging infected open wounds.  Connor and Murphy lived thru hell. We are here to change all that.  They have been healing up this past month, are now both neutered, and are trusting us humans.  We now need foster placement, or potential adoption for both Connor and Murphy.  They are not bonded and will not need to be placed together.   Even though they were abused and obviously both survived dog fights, these are submissive soft sweet pibbles that will make amazing loving pets. You just need to look past all the scars. We have dog tested and they can be placed into homes with other dogs.     Furry Farm Rescue, established in 2017, is a foster home style rescue group in North Idaho. Our primary focus is on abandoned pets in our local shelter system, helping those most in need medically. Our commitment to our animals and our local community cultivates a safe environment for healing and rehabilitation. Our farm hand volunteers are amazing, and 100% of donations goes directly towards animal care and vetting. We do not have a phone, but you can reach out via email at ffr@thefurryfarmrescue.org with questions not answered in our bio or on our website. All adoptions start with the application, found at thefurryfarmrescue.org   #northidahorescue #savingshelterdogs #savinlivesin25 #reportdogfighters ##2296942##

Story
Meet Momo! Momo is a playful, goofy Bull Terrier mix—or at least that’s our best guess! What we do know for sure is that he’s 100% joy and will bring endless smiles to your home. Momo loves to toss his toys in the air and catch them, proving he’s an expert in self-entertainment. But don’t let his playful energy fool you—once he’s had his fun, he’s all about lounging on the floor and hanging out with his people, soaking up the family vibes. Currently living with a family, Momo would thrive in a home with older kids who can handle his playful side. He already knows commands like “sit” and would love to join you on daily walks to explore the world together. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-tossing, and heartwarming companion, Momo is ready to bring his big personality to your home. Are you ready for the smiles? Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/679a5578913f34466705f15c Email cynthia@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $1,000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Are you ready for a LATTE love and fun? You don’t have to go to Seattle because Pike will come right to you! This handsome brindle boy, with his unique gray-toned legs and warm hazel eyes, is just as bold and delightful as your favorite cup of coffee. Pike’s place? Definitely right by your side—or better yet, in the yard chasing leaves, wrestling with a doggy friend, or carrying around his favorite squeaky toy! At 12 weeks old and 10 lbs, Pike is the perfect mix of independent and playful. We think he may be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, based on his mom, but with rescue it’s always a guess! His mom is petite at only 40 lbs and we think he will be medium sized as well. THE PERFECT HOME FOR PIKE: Needs a yard to run, explore, and chase all the best leaves. Would love a playful dog friend to wrestle and zoom around with (but not required)! Would be a great adventure buddy—he’s always curious and ready to explore. Pike is one smart little pup—he’s already learning how to use the doggy door and making great progress with potty training. He’s crate-trained (well, technically, a pen-trained pup!), sleeping 5-6 hours at night before letting you know he’s ready for a potty break. He rides great in the car in his crate—no crying, no stress! He absolutely loves playing with other dogs—his favorite game is rough-and-tumble with his foster sibling, Mary! Whether they’re running around the yard, playing tug-of-war, or sharing toys, Pike thrives in a home with a canine buddy. If you already have a playful pup, Pike would be the perfect sidekick! While Pike is playful and affectionate, he’s not overly clingy with people. He’s happy to be pet and hang out nearby but he’s more of a “love the dogs” kind of guy. If you’re looking for a pup who’s equal parts fun, independent, and adventurous, Pike is your perfect match! Could you be the one to give this brindle boy a forever home? Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/676d7ddecb7fbac2c101b18a Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
