In the world of anime, an "Isekai" story follows a character who is transported to a brand-new world, leaving a difficult past behind to become the hero they were always meant to be. Our Isekai is living that story right now! After a rocky start and far too many "reboots," this petite girl has transformed into a resilient, velvet-coated beauty ready for her final, forever home.
The Glow-Up of a Lifetime
When Isekai first arrived, she was struggling. Suffering from long-untreated allergies, she had almost no fur and skin so sensitive that standard collars had left her raw. But like any great protagonist, she didn’t let that break her spirit.
Today, she is a new dog. Her sleek, black coat is growing back beautifully, and she’s feeling better than ever. To keep her looking and feeling like a superhero, she just needs a "sidekick" who can help with her simple maintenance:
The Royal Treatment: She enjoys frequent at-home spa days (baths) to keep her skin healthy and comfortable.
A Specialized Menu: To keep those pesky allergies at bay, she’s currently thriving on a specific diet trial.
Daily Armor: A few ongoing medications act as her "armor" to keep her skin and spirit strong.

If Isekai has a signature move, it’s the Ultimate Snuggle.
The Wiggle Specialist: She has the perfect balance of "zoomie" energy and "couch potato" vibes. Once she’s finished her playtime, she becomes a dedicated lap dog. Whether you’re working or relaxing, she’ll find a way to curl up right next to (or on top of!) you.
Professional Toy Surgeon: Isekai is an expert at "stuffed toy surgery." She takes great pride in removing squeakers and parading her "trophies" around the house with a wagging tail.
Star Pupil: She is incredibly smart and food-motivated. With a few treats and a little structure, she’s ready to learn any trick you can dream up!

Isekai has atopic dermatitis, a genetic immune system abnormality that causes a defective skin barrier, skin and ear infections, itchiness, and sensitivity to allergens. There is no cure for atopic dermatitis, management is lifelong. Flare ups are common and treatments may need to be adjusted. Right now, she is receiving a combination of a special diet, shampoo, and medications to help manage her symptoms. She is currently available through the Foster to adopt program while we work on getting her symptoms under control.
This animal is looking for a Foster to Adopt home. Isekai is available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more about the FTA program. Isekai might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
