Story
A24660 Oso is a brown with some white colored, approximately 4-year-old, 70-pound, neutered male, Staffordshire Bullterrier. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 01-02-2025 because they stated he was food and toy aggressive. We have not seen that behavior here at the shelter. Oso is a friendly, high-energy boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is a friendly, and easy to handle. He is just a big strong boy. They would recommend an experienced owner who would be able to handle his energy. He has had some training and will “sit” and “shake” upon command. He was easy to leash but pulled in his excitement to go for a walk. He will need some leash training to be his best. The previous owner said he is house broken and has lived with other dogs and children, but not cats. Again, they advised he was toy and food aggressive, so we would recommend he be the only dog in the home until this could be determined in a home environment. They did say he was good with their children. Oso will be a fun-loving family member in his new forever home.

Story
A24795 Lobster is a grey and white colored, approximately 2-year-old, 34-pound, neutered male, Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He entered the shelter as a stray on 01-07-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Lobster is a friendly, eager and excited boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is a happy, excited boy who gets the butt wiggles when you approach his kennel. He loves people and jumps up on you for hugs, kisses and all the pets you will give him. He is excited to leave the kennel and go for a walk. Because he gets so excited he was a little difficult to leash. He pulls, weaves and bobs around your feet in excitement to be out smelling everything during walks. He will need work on his leash manners, but he is a good boy. He has had some training and will “sit” and “stay” upon command. He has a friendly curiosity to other dogs here, with a tail wag and sniff as they pass his kennel or are in another play yard. Lobster will be a fun-loving family member in his new forever home.

Story
A24472 Daisy is a white and brown colored, approximately 2-year-old, 60-pound, spayed female, Staffordshire Bullterrier mix. She entered the shelter an owner surrender on 12-21-2024 due to the fact she did not get along with other dogs. Daisy is a friendly, shy and timid girl here in the shelter. Our staff describes her as sweet and lovable around people. She loves attention and getting affection. She walks really well on the leash. Our staff says she is a delight to walk. She has had some training as she will “sit” upon command. The previous owner says she is house broken, used a doggy door and she has lived with other dogs, cats and children. They did say she wants all the attention and will bully the other dogs for the attention. For that fact we recommend she be the only dog in the home. Daisy will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.

Story
Champ holds a certification for AKC Novice Trick Dog! He absolutely loves car rides, adventures, belly rubs, and toys. Champ needs to be introduced to proper introductions to strangers, and is still learning how to politely meet other dogs. He will need continued structure to help him stay calm in exciting situations. Champ needs a home that can take him on adventures and enjoy his silly antics. He will need to be the only child (both fury and human) so he can continue his structure. A low-stimulus environment would be best. He would love to focus on giving his humans all of his affection and attention, and he has a lot of it to give! His adoption process includes training, demos, free services and more.
