Story
Charlie has recently joined Every Last One Rescue. Our team is still learning this pups personality and all of their cute quirks.
From his first foster, we've learned so far that:
Charlie is a very curious, non-reactive pup, like a K9 Sherlock Holmes, that will feel compelled to sniff every person and dog that passes by him. If someone stops, smiles and greets him, Charlie will get excited, wiggle his tail and wait to be pet.
Charlie never avoided, and has not shown any signs of aggression, towards other dogs. He will tend to go close to other dogs to sniff and say hello. That said, please always be careful because he is too nice and other dogs might not be. Charlie does not care if the other dog is bigger than him, like a Great Dane or small, like a baby Chihuahua. He’s always happy to greet and play. He has shown a predilection for other Pitties, Huskys and Frenchies.
Even though, Charlie was never home trained by his previous family, and shown some signs of having been poorly taken care of, e.g. (some discomfort when seeing the collar and leash in front of him, by nipping the hands while dancing a bit, and wiggling his tail), he also shows, just after 2 weeks of being fostered, a great improvement in the levels of calmness, and feeling more comfortable with the collar/leash.
Fun Fact: He was able to learn to give both paws in less than 3 days, even though he had no prior training.
Charlie, is a very intelligent, bright, social and loving dog that needs a matching supportive and dedicated family, that will be able to give him a chance to go to his official '1st day in training school', as if he was just a few months old, and to show him that forever love is real.
