Story
Rain is so ugly she’s cute and she has the funniest personality!!! She came from an ER where she was going to be euthanized for dystocia, severe illness, and lack of funds by the owners. They were devastated but they chose to surrender her to save her life. Rain is about 2 years old and she is a Micro Bully. She loves to play, she’s good with calmer dogs after proper introduction, and she adores kids! She weighs about 32 lb and has a horrible ear cropping job. Rain can be super energetic if you want her to, or a complete couch potato. She does well on leash and harness, knows a few commands, and sits patiently in the bathtub during bath time. If you would like to come meet this gremlin sweetheart, contact us or Summit Veterinary Hospital at (979) 315-1999! Rain is spayed and microchipped. She is also up to date on all vaccines, is heartworm negative and she's dewormed. Our adoption process begins with you meeting Rain. Feel free to schedule a play date with her and your existing dog(s). After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Rain to you for a small adoption fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to ensure that Rain is adjusting well to her new home and that she's happy and healthy. We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interest in mind and we do everything we can to ensure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.

Story
We adopted Bug from a shelter when he was three weeks old. He's been a part of the family for a year and a half now. He's been loving and happy around everyone he's met, but he's had minimal exposure to children, primarily because we don't have any of our own. His reaction to the few times he's been around kids has been more sniffing and curious. He's great around my Great Dane, but the past few months he and my Husky / Shepard mix haven't been getting along, which is why we're trying to find him another loving home. He's full of energy and adventure, which has lead to him escaping my backyard quite a few times but never ran away. He usually has found his way to a neighbors house, playing in our front entryway, or hides in the bushes. I'm willing to answer any and all questions to the best of my ability for anyone who would be willing to give him a loving home. Thank you!

Story
Hey there, I'm Halle, a pint sized bundle of energy wrapped in 39lbs of rock-solid muscle! They say I'm probably a Staffy Mix, and at 1.5 years old I'm still a youngster! I'm living my best life in my foster home, playing with my furry pals, soaring off couches, and having a blast in the yard. You'll often find me tossing my stuffed animal around or keeping busy with Nylabones (when I'm not dragging dish towels from the kitchen, oops!). Now, when it comes to personal space, I haven't quite figured that out. I love being right on top of my humans and my dog friends, snoring loudly and maybe burping in their faces. It's all part of the Halle experience, you know? I need an active family who can keep up with my enthusiasm. Crates are not my favorite, so if you're away for long hours, it wouldn’t work out. I'm not fully potty trained yet, so please be patient with me. I've been through a lot – couldn't even open my eyes when I arrived, covered in crust, blood, and mange. But hey, I've come a long way! My eyes are healed, I got spayed, had some eyelid surgery, and my fur is looking fabulous (just a few scars on my head). Dream home checklist: - Another furry friend to play with - Minimal crate time, please! - Someone patient for my ongoing potty training and basic manners - An active lifestyle to match my energy levels Ready to bring some silliness and joy into your life?
