Story
I found her outside my apartment lost and scared. She had a collar but no tag and she wasn’t chipped (she is now). Took her to the shelter unclaimed so I decided to take her home to see if she’s a good fit. And she’s great for a home, but my senior dog just isn’t happy about it and it’s gotten worse over the last month, so she deserves a better home that’s a better fit for her. I have a kennel, toys and a couple of sweaters I’d donate as well. I feel wrong charging any money for her, just some pics of her to keep me updated on her new life is payment enough! Feel free to call, text or email anytime.

Story
My name is Piper and I am 6 years old. I am 60# and super fit. I'm a 100% good girl Staffordshire Terrier. I am potty and crate trained. I sit and wait for my food; understand "drop it" and walk really well on leash. I am a pro at snuggling. I was in the shelter twice and thought when I was adopted in 2021 that I would live with my family forever but they moved and could not take me so their friends took interest in me and kept me out of the shelter and gave me a great place to wait for my forever home. I love tossing myself toys and catching tennis balls. If you give me a squeaky toy, make sure it's not during your work from home meetings because I LOVE them. I love booty, belly, and ear rubs and boop kisses. I am good with kids but in my foster home they are all 10+ and I don't have experience with little ones. I live with a lot of different dogs and get along with all of them! ##2199271##

Story
Meet Rosie! Rosie is a humble young girl, who has no idea how cute she is with her funky ears. Don't let her age fool you. Rosie is an expert as catching treats in midair and loves to go for walks with her favorite humans. She is a spunky girl, who is looking for a home with a nice backyard to ramp around in and that has a comfy bed for her to cuddle up in at night.Rosie lived in a home with other dogs and has a playmate at the OHAR shelter that she thinks is the bee's knees (*see Lucky). However, Rosie told us that she'd prefer to be the only animal in the home. She really likes attention and to have all the lovin's for herself. If you'd like to meet Rosie and her crazy ears, contact us TODAY!Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
I acquired Luna from an old family friend. She is has been in my care for 3 years. I am looking for her to go to a family that has love to give, time to spare and share, and energy to pour into this beautiful fur baby. I would describe Luna as energetic, protective, curious, alert, eager, loving, playful and a little mischievous (aren’t all dogs). Luna deserves a home of care that i cannot provide right now and i do not like the thought of her going i to a shelter. If you’re able to do that for her she’s yours!
