Story
Meet Mia 🐾 ✨ A very special little soul ✨ Mia is an itty-bitty 11-week-old mini poodle mix who weighs just 4 lbs now and is expected to grow to about 15–20 lbs. She may be small, but her heart (and personality!) are already so big. Mia is blind in both eyes, which means she experiences the world a little differently, and honestly, she's doing an incredible job. With a calm routine and gentle guidance, she's already gaining confidence every day. She sleeps through the night in her crate, does wonderfully in her play pen, and is learning her way around her foster home like a champ. This brave girl has figured out how to use pee pads, follows gentle tapping sounds to find her way, and is starting to map out her surroundings with impressive determination. Windy or rainy days can feel a little overwhelming for her, but with patience and reassurance, she keeps trying. She's even gone on short leash walks and does great with a little audible encouragement to guide her forward. Despite her vision loss, Mia is playful, curious, and fearless, she happily initiates play with her larger foster siblings and loves being part of the action. She's very much still a puppy, complete with the occasional ankle-nipping zoomie, but she's learning and improving every day. Mia is looking for a very special home, one that offers patience, understanding, and a calm, consistent environment where she can continue to feel safe and confident as she grows. She may not be a "typical" puppy, but she is truly extraordinary. After settling in beautifully and showing just how resilient and loving she is, Mia is now ready to find her forever home, a place where she'll be cherished, supported, and adored for the incredible little pup she is. 🐾✨
