Story
Meet Snippet! Snippet is a 6-month-old poodle mix with a fun-loving personality and a sweet, sensitive side. This adorable young pup loves being close to his people and is happiest when he's included in the fun, whether that's heading out on an adventure, playing with his favorite toys, or curling up in a cozy bed after a busy day.Like many puppies his age, Snippet is still learning his basic manners and will benefit from a family committed to helping him grow into a confident, well-rounded companion. He can be shy in new situations and likes to take his time figuring out the world around him, so he's looking for patient adopters who will move at his pace and help guide him with kindness and encouragement. Snippet also needs a home dedicated to keeping his coat well-groomed and matt free! With gentle support, consistency, and positive experiences, Snippet's confidence continues to blossom every day. He's a wonderful little guy with so much love to give and will thrive in a home that understands his sensitive nature and celebrates all the small victories along the way.If you're looking for a loyal, playful companion to grow alongside, Snippet may be the perfect match for you! Primary Color: Blonde Weight: 6.4 Age: 0yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Hiiiii. My name is TUCKER and below is info about me:Breed: Poodle mixAge: 1-1/5 yrsGender: maleWeight: 40 lbsHeight: 19 inchesCountry of origin: ChinaHighlights: sweet, loving, timid initially, gentle, easy Hi everyone. Being a very gentle and easy going pup,I will do well in any loving home.I was just a young puppy, rummaging through the garbage trying to find something to eat when my rescuer saw me. It was a good thing she did, as I was struggling to stay alive. My rescuer took me to her home, cleaned me up and fed me. She then took me to the vet who found that, despite being nearly starved, I was in good health.Ever since my rescue, I have been living at a shelter. It is so much better there than living in the streets, but I am so longing to have a home and a family of my very own.I am a very sweet and loving boy who gets along well with other dogs, as well as cats and kids, though there are no videos of this. Although I am timid initially when first meeting new people, it doesn't take me long to warm up and feel safe. Every night I pray that I will find a home soon.I would enjoy leisurely strolls and learning that being part of a family entails cuddles.I am good on leash and currently working on my house training. I'm in a loving foster home in Vancouver and can't wait to meet you! Videos on the way soon. Energy Level: ModerateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknown. (Rescuer states yes, but no video proof)Kids: unknown. (Rescuer states good with her young daughter, but no video) Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training:Leash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: in progress. Please help me complete learning. Health notes: Will have teeth cleaning and grooming done soon.I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to  Canada, if I have a passenger to escort me. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2715920##

Story
Hello!  My name is Penny.  Here is some information about me: Breed: Bernadoodle Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Weight: 61 lbs Height: tbd Meet Penny – a gentle soul looking for her next chapter Penny is a beautiful 3-year-old white Bernedoodle mix (with the elegant look of a Poodle and the sweetest personality to match). She’s not coming into rescue because of anything she’s done wrong — in fact, quite the opposite. Penny has been deeply loved since she was just 6 months old, and her family is facing unexpected life changes that mean they can no longer give her the future she deserves. Making this decision has been incredibly difficult, but it comes from a place of love and wanting the very best for her long-term happiness. And what a special girl she is… Penny is everything people hope for in a companion dog. She is gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with young children. She absolutely loves other dogs and lights up when she gets the chance to play and socialize. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a fun outing to meet new furry friends, Penny is happiest when she’s out exploring and connecting. She’s fully potty trained, has excellent house manners, and enjoys the freedom of being part of the family at home. She was crate trained as a puppy, but she’s proven herself trustworthy with full run of the house — no accidents, no trouble, just a calm and loving presence. On leash, Penny is a dream to walk. She enjoys her daily outings and would thrive in a home that can continue giving her the exercise and companionship she loves. Soon to be spayed and ready for her fresh start, Penny is looking for a family who will cherish her as much as she’s been cherished all along. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving, and easygoing companion who is great with kids and other dogs, Penny might just be your perfect match. Could you be the one to give Penny her forever home? I get along with: Dogs: yes Cats: unknown Kids: yes Energy Level: moderate-high Fears/Prey Drive: none observed Training: yes Leash Skills: Yes. Please be prepared to continue with my training. Housetrained: Yes.  Please assist me in learning where to go in my new home. Health: I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and soon to be spayed. My adoption fee is $800 CAD plus taxes.
