Rex is a 4-year-old doodle mix who came to us as a rescue. He’s a sweet and affectionate dog who loves his people and wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. He enjoys walks, attention, and being close to his family.Rex bonds very strongly with his person, and we’ve learned that being separated can be difficult for him. He can become anxious when left alone. Unfortunately, our work schedules keep us away more than we feel is fair to him, and we think he would thrive with someone who is home often and has experience with or an understanding of anxious dogs.He currently lives with an older child and does great with her, but we were told by the rescue that he did not do as well with younger children. He also lives with another dog but mostly does his own thing rather than playing with him.We’d love to find Rex a patient, loving home where he can get the companionship and consistency he needs. This is a difficult decision, and our biggest priority is finding the right fit for him.

We would love to add Kamo and Mina to our trip for the right family/families 😊 Meet our beautiful brother and sister duo, Kamo and Mina! 🩵🩷 Born June 5, 2026, Kamo and Mina are Portuguese Water Dog/Poodle mixes who came to us together and have been such a joy to get to know. While we are introducing them in one post because they are siblings, we want to make it very clear that they do NOT need to be adopted together. They complement one another beautifully, genuinely enjoy each other’s company, and certainly could remain together if the right family wanted to open their home and hearts to both, but they are equally confident and comfortable outside of one another and will absolutely thrive separately with the right families. And that is important to us because we want everyone reading this to have the opportunity to get to know Kamo and Mina as two individual puppies, rather than simply seeing them as a pair. 🩵🩷 Their mom is 55 lbs full grown and we were told their dad, who belonged to a friend of their previous owner, is approximately 60 lbs. At their veterinary appointment on September 10th, Kamo weighed 23.2 lbs and Mina weighed 21.2 lbs. Based on their parents, their current weights and their growth so far, we are estimating both puppies to mature somewhere around the 55–60 lb range, with Mina potentially remaining slightly smaller than her brother. Of course, puppy growth can never be predicted down to an exact number, but we feel that range gives their future families a reasonable expectation of the good-sized adults they are growing into. Kamo is our handsome boy, and there is something so endearing about watching him move through puppyhood with this wonderfully easygoing disposition. He has that playful puppy side that comes out when the toys appear or his sister is ready for a game, but he also already understands the beauty of simply settling down and enjoying the moment. He is affectionate without needing to be the center of attention every second and loves coming over to be loved on, have his ears scratched, roll over for a belly rub, or simply hang out close to us. He is curious, attentive and incredibly receptive to the routines we have introduced, which makes working with him so rewarding. Mina is our beautiful little lady and has so much of that same lovely temperament while still carrying her own sweet presence. She is affectionate, observant and wonderfully content being part of whatever is happening around her. She loves her playtime, loves being near us, and has already shown us that she can transition beautifully from puppy fun to simply lounging around the house. There is a softness to the way she seeks out affection, coming over to be loved on or simply settling nearby, and we can easily picture her growing into one of those wonderful dogs who becomes an effortless part of her family’s everyday life. One of the things we love most about BOTH puppies is how beautifully balanced they already are at such a young age. Puppies are puppies, and of course they play, explore and find ways to entertain themselves, but these two have such calm, serene temperaments underneath all of that puppy silliness. They have great house manners for their age and are perfectly happy lounging around with us when playtime is over. Seeing that natural ability to settle this young gives us such a wonderful glimpse into the adults they are going to become. And then there is the WATER. 😂 These two absolutely live up to the Portuguese Water Dog side of their heritage! If there is water available, there is a very good chance Kamo or Mina will find it. They love lounging in the shallow end of our swimming pool, cooling themselves off whenever the opportunity presents itself, and apparently believe water bowls occasionally serve a secondary purpose as tiny swimming pools that should be emptied accordingly. 😂 Give them a nice dip in the pool followed by a sunny spot to lounge poolside and these two are living their very best lives. They also love their toys. They’ll happily play tug-of-war together, entertain themselves with a favorite stuffie, chew on a toy while relaxing, or find a sunny spot and simply enjoy the day. They play beautifully together, but neither puppy relies on the other in order to feel comfortable or entertained. Both Kamo and Mina are crate trained and doing AMAZINGLY with it. They sleep in their crates throughout the entire night without crying or having accidents. Once bedtime comes, they settle in quickly, sleep peacefully through the night and are ready to head outside to potty when we let them out in the morning. That is such an incredible foundation for puppies their age and something their future families can continue building upon. Their house training is also coming along wonderfully. They are still young puppies, so their new families will need to maintain a consistent potty routine as they continue maturing, but they are very smart, attentive and quick learners. With consistency, praise and a good schedule, we expect them to continue progressing beautifully. These are the kind of puppies that make training feel rewarding because they genuinely want to learn what is being asked of them. They have not started leash walking out in public yet, and that has been intentional. We want them appropriately vaccinated before we begin taking them into environments where they could be unnecessarily exposed while their puppy vaccine series is still being completed. Their final set of puppy vaccines is scheduled for September 24th, and once that is completed they will be ready to begin learning about walks, adventures and all of the fun that comes with exploring the world alongside their families. Their previous family owned their mother, while their father belonged to a friend. Their original intention was to keep Kamo and Mina, but as the puppies grew, they realized their busy schedules simply didn’t allow them to give two young dogs the time, consistency and training they deserved. Rather than casually placing them into homes without having the time or resources to properly vet potential adopters, they reached out to us and asked us to take them in. In return, we had their mom spayed for the family so there would be no possibility of another unexpected litter. We respect that they recognized what these puppies needed and chose to ask for help. Now we get the privilege of taking all the time necessary to make sure Kamo and Mina end up exactly where they are supposed to be, the first time. 🩷 Both puppies have received clean bills of health through our veterinarian and each has a health certificate that will go home with their adopting family. We also had fecal testing sent to the laboratory to screen for intestinal parasites, and both puppies tested negative for everything screened. Before adoption, they will be current on their age-appropriate puppy veterinary care, including their complete DA2PP puppy vaccine series, which includes protection against parvovirus, two Bordetella vaccines, and their one-year rabies vaccine. Both will also leave us microchipped. Kamo and Mina will be adopted on spay/neuter contracts because they are simply too young for us to sterilize at this stage of their development. Our contract will require their adopting families to have them altered once they have reached approximately 12 months of age. For puppies expected to mature into dogs of their size, we prefer allowing additional time for physical development rather than routinely altering them at only a few months old. Reproductive hormones play a role in growth and skeletal maturation, including growth-plate development, and the timing of sterilization can be particularly worth discussing in larger-growing dogs. Their families will be expected to keep them safely intact during this period and work with their veterinarian as they approach the age required by our contract. Most importantly, these are two genuinely wonderful puppies. Kamo doesn’t need Mina beside him in order to flourish, and Mina doesn’t need Kamo beside her in order to feel secure. They love each other because they are siblings who have shared their little lives thus far, but each has everything necessary to form a beautiful bond with a family of their own. If someone falls completely in love with both and has the time, space and commitment to raise two puppies, we are absolutely open to considering that home as well. We simply will never require it. Whether their journeys continue side by side or eventually take them to two different families, our goal remains exactly the same: finding each of them a home where they will be loved, trained, included and treasured for the rest of their lives. They have already given us such a beautiful foundation to work with... crate trained, progressing wonderfully with house training, intelligent, attentive, affectionate, playful without being overwhelming, able to settle in the home, and completely convinced that every available body of water was placed on this earth specifically for their enjoyment. 😂🩵🩷 Now they are ready for the best part of their journey: finding the families who get to watch these incredible puppies grow into equally incredible dogs. We would love to add Jack to our trip for the right family 😊 Jack is a purebred male Standard Poodle, born August 19, 2023, and he is one of those dogs whose eyes tell you so much more than words ever could. There is a softness and depth behind them that makes you stop and look a little longer, because you can quite literally see his heart beginning to come back to life. 🩷 Jack came to us from a young man who had reached a point where he simply could not financially provide the care Jack needed anymore. More than anything, I am thankful he reached out to us before allowing Jack to continue living a life he didn’t deserve to live. When Jack first arrived, he weighed only 35 pounds. His coat was severely matted and unfortunately couldn’t be saved, so he had to be completely shaved down. Beneath all of that hair was a very thin boy who desperately needed proper nutrition, medical care, grooming, and most importantly, the opportunity to simply feel good again. Today, Jack weighs 44.5 pounds and is absolutely flourishing. 🩷 He still has approximately another 3–5 pounds to gain before reaching the healthiest version of himself, but watching his transformation has been incredibly rewarding. His coat is growing back beautifully—shiny, healthy, and soft—and with time, he will finally have enough coat to sport that beautiful traditional Poodle cut and look every bit as royal as his breed entails. 😊 But as beautiful as Jack is becoming on the outside, the transformation happening inside of him is what has meant the most to us. Jack is a boy who loves deeply once he realizes you are his person. He isn’t demanding or overly needy about affection; he simply loves to feel that he is loved. He will quietly lean into you for ear rubs, soak up being hugged on, and stay close just because being beside his person means something to him. There is such an appreciation in the way this boy receives love. Slowly but surely, we have watched his spirit and joy return. The warmth, intelligence, devotion, and incredible loyalty that Poodles are so well known for are beginning to shine through more and more every day. Sometimes you can see it simply by looking into his eyes. There is a whole lot of love waiting behind them for the person he will eventually call his own. Jack has wonderful manners in the home. He is completely house trained and goes outside when asked if he needs to use the restroom. He is crate trained and currently sleeps peacefully in his crate at night and is comfortable being crated if we need to step away from the home. That being said, he has such good house manners that he could very easily transition to sleeping on a dog bed beside yours—or right in bed with you if that’s where you would rather have him. 🩷 He is leash trained and does very well on walks. He is also wonderful in the car and enjoys road trips, whether it’s a longer drive or simply running around town. Jack is happiest knowing that he gets to be included. He doesn’t need constant entertainment; sometimes just being wherever his people are is enough for him. He is phenomenal at the groomer, which says so much about his temperament considering the condition his coat and body were in when he first came to us. Even though he couldn’t have physically felt his best, he was incredibly cooperative and seemed genuinely happy to simply be cared for. Our groomer could feel his appreciation immensely, and he was such a good boy throughout the entire process. Jack does wonderfully with the other dogs here, both big and small, and has also been around our cat without any issue. He is an incredibly quiet dog and very rarely uses his voice. About the only time we hear from him is when he has finished his potty break and would like someone to kindly let him back inside. 😊 Medically, Jack has received everything he needed to give him a fresh start. He has been neutered, received a full dental cleaning, and had both ears thoroughly flushed and treated after arriving with infections in both ears. He is current on his yearly vaccinations, microchipped, and has received a thorough veterinary examination. Aside from the weight, coat condition, and ear infections we already knew needed attention, his examination went very well, and he has continued healing and thriving beautifully with us. Jack isn’t looking for someone to feel sorry for where he started. He’s looking for someone who will appreciate how far he has come and continue showing him just how beautiful life can be. He has already learned that meals come consistently, that hands can comfort him, that grooming can make him feel better, that a soft place to sleep will still be there tomorrow, and that being loved doesn’t have to be temporary. We would love to add Dahlia to our trip for the right family 😊 Meet our beautiful Dahlia 🤍 Dahlia is a gorgeous Standard Poodle with the most beautiful coloring, depending on who you ask, you may hear her described as white Merle or Parti colored. Whatever technical name you want to give her coat, there is no denying that this girl is absolutely beautiful. She is also a larger Standard Poodle, weighing in at 60 lbs 💕 Dahlia came to us after her owner was preparing to move out of state and was unable to take her along. Sometimes life changes leave wonderful dogs needing an entirely new chapter through absolutely no fault of their own, and Dahlia has made it very clear since arriving that she is more than ready to settle right back into being someone’s beloved girl. And when I say settle in, I mean Dahlia wasted very little time figuring out how things work around here 😂 She discovered our bed all on her own and has since been caught peacefully napping there, completely stretched out and comfortable as if she had been sleeping there her entire life. Apparently, Dahlia believes that if a bed is available, it should not go to waste! She is crate trained and can absolutely use a crate when needed, but she is so wonderful in the home that she doesn’t need to spend her life in one. Give her a comfortable place to lay, let her be part of the family, and she is perfectly happy. She is fully housetrained and does wonderfully going outside throughout the day. Her house manners have been wonderful, especially considering her size. She knows how to settle, relax, and simply coexist with everyone around her without needing constant entertainment or direction. Dahlia is also good on leash and enjoys getting out and about. She is a big girl, so naturally there is a lot more dog at the end of the leash than there would be with one of our tiny ones, but she listens well and has been wonderful to handle. She is GREAT in the car and travels beautifully, which is something we always appreciate with our dogs. Whether her future consists of trips around town, visits with family, vacations, or simply tagging along for everyday errands, Dahlia is more than happy to hop in and go along for the ride. She is also wonderful at the groomers, another pretty important quality when you are talking about a Standard Poodle! She handles the grooming process beautifully and has been an absolute pleasure for them. Her future family will need to be committed to maintaining her coat with regular professional grooming, but thankfully Dahlia makes that part pretty easy. One of the things we love most about her is how naturally social she is. Dahlia is great with everyone she meets. She isn’t a girl who wants to hide away from the world or needs convincing that new people can be friends. She has a wonderful temperament and genuinely enjoys people, affection, and being included in whatever is happening around her. She has that combination that can be so hard to find in a larger dog, she is substantial enough to feel like a true big companion, yet she knows how to live comfortably inside a home. We would love to add Charlotte to our trip for the right family 😊 Charlotte is our beautiful 10-month-old Goldendoodle, and there truly aren’t enough wonderful things I could say about this girl. She is absolutely AMAZING. 🩷 She has one of those personalities that gets you right in the heart, and there is something so incredibly special about the way she loves her people. Charlotte is affectionate in the sweetest way. She loves hugs and will actually burrow her head right into your chest as if that is exactly where it was always meant to be. 🥹🩷 She is constantly watching her people with that happy little tail wagging, simply grateful to be included in whatever the day brings. You could be outside working, walking around the house getting things done, or quite literally sitting there daydreaming, and Charlotte is perfectly happy just sitting beside you because, to her, being with you is enough. She is a true companion dog through and through. Charlotte is wonderful with other dogs and is also great with cats. If her new home already has another sweet dog waiting for a sister, she would make an amazing addition and would genuinely enjoy having that friendship. At the same time, another dog is not a requirement for her. If she is going to be the only dog in her home and her person or family has the time to give her the companionship and friendship her heart desires, she will be every bit as happy soaking up that love for herself. 🩷 She is house trained and goes outside when asked. She is very accustomed to being part of our day and is happy to head outside with us, do what she needs to do, and then wait patiently for us to rejoin her if we aren’t quite ready to head back inside yet. Inside the home, Charlotte has beautiful manners. She isn’t overbearing or constantly demanding attention. As much as she adores being near you, she also understands how to simply settle. If you’re busy or tending to other things, she will quietly find herself a comfortable bed or stretch out on the cool floor and contently relax until you’re available again. She is crate trained and currently sleeps peacefully and quietly in her crate throughout the entire night until morning. For a family who prefers not to use a crate long-term, I don’t foresee her having any trouble transitioning to sleeping on a dog bed of her own once she has settled into her new home and routine. Charlotte is also a very smart girl and already has a wonderful little vocabulary! She knows sit, shake, come, stay, and even hug. 🥰 And our girl happens to be bilingual, so she knows stay in Spanish too. She listens very well and genuinely enjoys interacting with her people, which makes continuing her training fun because she already has such a wonderful foundation. She isn’t a barker, although she will occasionally alert you to an unfamiliar noise. Once acknowledged and asked to settle, she listens and settles right back down. Meeting new people is another thing Charlotte takes completely in stride. She is wonderful with anyone new and seems to consider you a friend almost immediately. Her tail starts wagging, her head drops for that much-deserved pat hello, and that’s essentially your opportunity to officially accept her friendship. 🥰 She has such a happy, welcoming nature about her. Charlotte is leash trained and walks beautifully. She isn’t trying to rush ahead or drag you from one place to the next. She walks slowly and nicely alongside you, once again proving that what she really wants is simply to be your companion. Whether it’s a neighborhood walk, an afternoon outing, or somewhere new to explore together, she’s just happy to be included. She is also wonderful on road trips and travels very well in the car, so a family who enjoys taking their dog along on adventures will have a very willing passenger. She loves our groomer and does wonderfully for her grooming appointments as well. She will be freshly groomed prior to adoption so she can head into her new life looking and feeling her very best. 🩷 Charlotte will be going home on a spay contract. At 10 months old, our veterinarian recommends allowing her to finish maturing before being spayed, which for her will be right around the one-year mark. Her adopting family will be responsible for having her spayed according to the terms of her adoption contract once she reaches the appropriate age. Prior to adoption, Charlotte will be current on her yearly vaccines, including Rabies and Bordetella. She will be microchipped and will receive a thorough examination with our veterinarian. She will go home with a health certificate from our vet stating that she is healthy and cleared for her new home. We will also have a fecal sample sent to the laboratory to ensure she is cleared of intestinal parasites prior to adoption. Charlotte is one of those dogs who makes it very easy to imagine what life with her will look like. A sweet face watching you from across the room. A wagging tail because you looked her way. A quiet walking partner beside you. A head tucked into your chest when she needs one of her hugs. A girl who doesn’t need every moment of your attention but absolutely treasures every moment of your friendship. She is affectionate without being overbearing, social without being demanding, playful and happy while still knowing how to settle, and simply grateful to be part of whatever her people are doing. She is, overall, that kind of friend everyone deserves to have at least once in their lifetime. 🩷🩷🩷
