Story
Arlo is 6 years old, in great health, and has had his yearly shots. He is very smart and alert. He has a beautiful coat color. His outer coat is lighter than his undercoat, which gets exposed when he is trimmed. He is mostly white with black, silver and a tiny bit of brown. He does well with our older children, but gets fearful and barks at small children when they come to our yard. He does not like cats or chickens. He gets along well with female dogs, but not other males in his own yard. He does get along with other males better now that he is neutered. He does very well on walks and has never been aggressive toward strangers. He is a pure breed and could be professionally trained. He will require grooming to maintain his coat. He does not shed.

Story
I acquired Teddy when he was a puppy. He is currently about 1½ years old and weighs around 19lbs. We were told he was a purebred toy poodle. He appears to be a mini poodle mix (possibly mixed with another small breed). He has the poodle look and coat but may not be 100% purebred. He is friendly, energetic, and very people-oriented. He enjoys attention, playtime, and being involved in whatever his humans are doing. He thrives on interaction and companionship. He’s smart, young, and very adoptable — he just needs an environment that can match his energy and give him consistent engagement. He lives with another dog and a cat. Plays rough/high-energy with the dog (playful, not aggressive) and is gentle with the cat. Can be sensitive about food and rough handling — may react if a child tries to take food or handles him improperly. Best with older kids or adults. Needs an attentive home with exercise, structure, and routine vet care.
