My name is Leo and I am a very healthy, handsome, 4 year old, neutered Standard Poodle. I weigh 69 pounds, I’m up to date with all my vaccines and tests, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. I am totally housebroken. I want to tell you about myself. I was surrendered to Coastal Poodle Rescue by a family who felt they couldn’t take care of me because of their busy lifestyle. The good folks at Coastal Poodle Rescue didn’t hesitate to welcome me with open arms and are now helping me find a forever home. I love attention, more attention and maybe a little more attention. I really like running really fast in a totally fenced yard. You know what’s fun? Playing catch me if you can and usually no one can catch me. When I’m relaxing, I really love to lounge on the couch or anywhere else where I can sprawl out. Did I mention that I love affection and attention? Well, I do. Also, I really like going for car rides. I’m a perfect passenger. I’ve never met a food bowl I didn’t like. I’m definitely not a picky eater. How do you make friends with me? Don’t worry because I’ll make friends with you. You won’t be able to resist my charming personality and if you show me affection and attention, I think we might have a perfect match. My foster mom says that my tail wags at warp speed. I’ll show you when you meet me. And finally, I need to tell you that I really love affection and attention!!! Why don’t you meet me, and you’ll find out for yourself. Hi, I’m JD. I came from a shelter in Monroe, Alabama. I’m not really sure how I ended up there, but it was a scary and uncertain time for me. Everything changed the day I hopped on a van and made my way to Big Dog Ranch—my new temporary home. I’m so grateful for this second chance at life. The people here tell me this is just a stop on my journey, and that my real forever home is still out there… hopefully with you. I’m a fun and playful pup, and I keep my kennel nice and clean. I also want you to know that I’m very sweet and will love you unconditionally. All I need is a chance to show you just how great we could be together. Will you be my forever family?

Hi, I’m LuLu! I’m a 17-lb Poodle blend and I'm just 6 years old. Introversion? Never heard of her. Alone time? Absolutely not. I'm a social butterfly who is the life of the party: now I just need some humans to make their life a wonderful adventure.  Favorite Things: LuLu love snacks, snuggles, and socks. She is very food-motivated, and this affectionate girl loves cuddling up with her people. She will be best suited with a family that can spend large amounts of time with her. She is also ready to protect her people from any and all rogue socks, and will collect them for you.  Training & Manners: Lulu is a little lady!  She is house trained if let out frequently. She will need a bit more practice leash walking, but if left in an enclosed yard she will play, and stay near you (unless she wants to go back inside, which she will let you know by sitting near the door). This girly girl seems to prefer being inside.  Health & Care: Lulu is spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. She just needs monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any pup. As a poodle, she will need professional grooming every few weeks plus regular brushing. Other Animals: Other small, calm dogs seem to be about LuLu's speed. She hasn't been observed around cats, but her foster thinks she'd get on with them. Children: Lovely LuLu is kid-tested and kid-approved! Ideal Home: LuLu doesn't like being left alone and has an adventurous spirit, so she needs a single-family home with a securely fenced yard.  Overall: As long as her people are near, LuLu is what her foster describes as "the perfect dog." Hi, new bestie. I’m Chewie. I’m an energetic and playful puppy, but I also love to lounge and unwind. I was really scared when I came to the shelter, but when I got to my foster home, I immediately started to relax. Now I love playing tag and tug of war with my foster buddy. I wish the cats in my foster home would play with me. I would love a forever home with other playful furry siblings. I also really like kids. I still have lots to learn, but I’m eager to please and treat motivated. If you have a fun and loving home, I’m ready to makes friends with everyone I meet.
