Story
My My Mya came to us from a breeder where she was relinquished by no fault of her own. She simply got too old for the pet store. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 07/11/22 and she currently weighs 23#. Photos were taken after spay surgery & she is still very sleepy. She will be groomed before adoptions & require grooming for life.  This girl is timid and will not be placed with children. She has been vet. checked, spayed,  micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She was heart worm negative. Her adoption donation is $650 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##1721773##

JACQUES & YVETTE - Bonded Pair - Special Needs - In a Foster Home!If you have a fenced yard, plenty of patience and love, you may like to welcome these two special friends into your home. Jacques is a 4 year old miniature poodle who is extremely dependent on Yvette, a female 3 year old miniature poodle. Both dogs need a home that is quiet, and they must go together. They are both a beautiful apricot color, and are sweet as they can be. It is obvious they have not had much experience with the world around them, so they will require someone who is willing to take their time to gain their trust. They are not housebroken, but working on it!They would not be a good match with children, or apartment living. (*)Jacques weighs 5 1/2 pounds and Yvette is 9 1/2 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. SNAP of Michigan is a 501c3 that is completely volunteer based. There is no income for what is done. Grants, donations, and community support is how we are able to do what we do. Prior to finalizing any adoption,  Dogs are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. Cats are fixed, vaccinated, and Fiv/Felv tested. Dogs who are awaiting vet appointments can be fostered until the adoption can be finalized. This can be seen as a longer trial period in the home to make sure it would be an amazing fit! Her independence is a testament to her resilience, yet she shares an unbreakable bond with Piper, her inseparable companion. Paisley's high prey drive makes her an excellent candidate for a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore and play. Her personality is a delightful mix of independence and loyalty, always ready to go on an adventure but equally content to relax with her bonded buddy, Piper. The adoption of Paisley promises a loyal, loving companion and the joy of seeing her unique personality flourish in a loving home.   Apply today: www.spayneuterassistanceprogramofmichigan.org/adoption-info Questions or Inquiries?
