Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. Buster is a poodle/Australian shepherd mix. When I adopted him 10 years ago, he was 16 weeks old. He has no health issues. He loves his toys, and has a toy box full of them. He takes one to bed and has recently started taking one with him to eat. He gets very excited when anyone comes to the door. I tell him to get a toy which causes him to be a bit more quiet and not so excited. He offers the toy to the visitor. He likes to lay on laps. He also watches TV. I would like for Buster to have a home where he knows he is loved.
