Then they lost the person they loved, and suddenly everything changed.🐾 Remi is a 39-pound, 6-ish year old, Mini Doodle with a gentle soul. She has lived in a home her entire life, is potty trained, and longs for the comfort of a family again. The shelter can be overwhelming, and she often shakes as she tries to make sense of her new surroundings. Beneath that uncertainty is a loving girl who simply wants to feel safe again.🐾 Marly is a 15-pound, 2 year old, Cavapoo, a wonderful mix of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle. He's affectionate, intelligent, potty trained, and happiest when he's near his people. His sweet personality makes it impossible not to fall in love.Both dogs are well-mannered, house-trained, and already know how to be cherished family companions. They don't need training—they need healing. They need someone willing to open their heart and give them the stability they've lost.While we understand that Remi and Marly may not stay together, we would be lying if we said we weren't hoping for a miracle. If there was ever a time for one, it's now. Imagine being able to keep two friends together after they've already lost so much.Whether they find a home together or separately, one thing is certain:They deserve couches instead of kennels.They deserve love instead of loss.They deserve a family instead of a shelter.Please share their story. Meet Sirius a 3 1/2 year a poodle mix who came to us as a stray. At first a shy boy this guy has really come out of his shell and is ready for his new start. Sirius tested well with cats as he mostly afraid of them. When tested with dogs Sirius showed that he is very much a dominant type guy so he will defiantly need a meet and greet before going to a new home. SP Chocolate Charlene  came to us from an owner who relinquished her by no fault of her own. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 07/04/22 and she currently weighs 42#.She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She also had her teeth cleaned. She is heart worm & tick born illness negative. Her adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. SP Sable Solomon came to us by no fault of his own after finding himself homeless and in a Kentucky kill shelter. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 02/14/24 and  he currently weighs 82#. This is a happy boy! We are guessing at his breed make up due to a docked tail. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm & tick illness negative except Borrelia. He has no symptoms and is on 30 days of doxycycline antibiotics as a preventative. His adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card.
