🐾 TEDDY BEAR is a gorgeous puppy who was just surrendered here locally as his family finds themselves in a situation where they have to move out of state suddenly and the only housing they can find does not allow dogs. He was bought by them from a breeder who referred to him as an Aussie Mountain Doodle. The previous owner reports his coat does get curly and he needs grooming every few months. All we know he that he is 100% adorable! He loves all people and dogs so far, and he's now fully up to date and vetted. He just turned 11 months old and should be getting close to full size - he's in the 40 lb range right now. He does have a lot of energy and no spacial awareness, so no extra small kids we'd say, and cats are a maybe. We think Teddy Bear would be perfect for an active family and might make a great running buddy, although our foster is not a runner so hasn't tested that theory yet. We'll share more pics and info as his foster gets them to us. 👉 Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months, alter and chip will occur after they're 6 months, covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. This is even more true if the dog has not by chance had their altering appointment at time of adoption. ** Also, we highly recommend some form of 2-week shutdown and decompression for dogs going to a new home for best results. --> Lastly, breed guesses in rescue are just that (GUESSES!!) 99.9% of the time. We do not do DNA testing and our breed guesses are based on appearance and sometimes other traits, but we know the dog breed guessing game is a fool's errand even for those with LOTS of experience. 🗺 ADOPTION AREA: several hour radius of Rochester, NY (Canada within 3 hours IS allowed, except that young puppies need to be old enough to have gotten their rabies vaccination to cross the border - usually around 16 weeks)

🐾 GRECIA is a beautiful young (2 years) Standard Poodle who's about 45 lbs and we've got fully vetted except for her spay and microchip which she's on the schedule for and is included in her adoption fee even if she's adopted before that date. She was locally surrendered because her owner could no longer care for her and keep up on her grooming and vet needs, as they also had a litter. She's just arrived at her foster's in the last few days and is understandably nervous and doesn't understand why everything has changed for her, but despite that, she's approaching her foster right away for pets and snuggles, and has been good with other dogs in the home and her previous owner said she was also good with cats.
