JENNY, JENNY… WHO CAN I TURN TO? 🎶 Hey there! I'm Jenny, and yes—THAT Jenny! Rumor has it a guy named Tommy wrote a famous song about me back in the '80s. I mean, can you blame him? One look at my adorable shaggy black-and-white coat and anyone would want my number written on a wall! I'm a 2-year-old, 44-pound girl with a personality that'll have you singing my name all day long. Honestly, when the lyrics say "I got your number off the wall," I'm pretty sure he just meant my shelter kennel card. I'm a happy, wiggly girl who loves making new friends! When I arrived at the shelter as a stray, I wasted no time showing off my sweet side, and I've been doing my best to get all the other dogs to join me for playtime. I’m convincing everyone here that "I need a make-believe lover" actually translates to "I need a real-life best friend to play fetch with!" Since moving into my foster home, I'm working hard on my house manners! I've had a few accidents indoors and can occasionally be a bit mouthy when I'm excited, but my foster family and I are actively working on both with love and training. I've got the looks, the charm, and a pop-culture legacy to uphold. All I'm missing now is a forever home to call my own! So if you're looking for a little love, you know who to call…JENNY! 867-5309! Story
I came to the rescue from Kentucky with burns all over my back and legs. Nobody really knows what happened to me, but thanks to my foster families taking such good care of me, my burns are all healed up now. I love pretty much everybody I meet, but I especially love other dogs. I have not met any cats yet, so I can’t give you my official opinion on those. I’m also neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, have had bloodwork done AND they even tested my poop and didn’t find any worms living in there. Apparently this is important information when you’re trying to find a family.
