With her shaggy curls, adorable face, and wonderfully outgoing personality, she's a girl who knows how to make friends!And when we say Dolly loves people, we mean it! This affectionate girl doesn't need a lengthy introduction before deciding you're her new best friend. She happily approaches people she's never met, leans right in for pets, and seems convinced that every available lap was put there just for her. Apparently, nobody has told Dolly that 64 pounds is a little large for a lap dog!What makes Dolly especially endearing is her confidence and enthusiasm for human companionship. She's comfortable seeking attention on her own and doesn't seem to need another dog beside her to feel secure. She's simply delighted to have someone willing to shower her with affection!Dolly came to us with her companion, Delilah, and the girls enjoy being together. While we'd love to see them find a home together, they can also be adopted separately. Unfortunately, we just can’t keep our girl Bailey anymore. She’s such a sweet dog, but we’ve had her outside, and she just would be a much better inside dog. Her hair is impossible to keep nice when she’s living outside, and she deserves a good home with a family that can provide a better environment for her. She’s 8 years old. She’s great with kids, and great with other dogs as well. She hasn’t really been around cats. She isn’t house trained because she has lived outside her whole life. She does tend to be a She does tend to be an anxious dog, she’s been like that ever since we bought her as a puppy. For that reason, it’s vital that she’s with her family that will be aware of that and will take good care of her. Please message me with any questions!

Meet Delilah! 🐾❤️Delilah is a beautiful black Standard Poodle/Poodle mix with gorgeous curls, a gentle personality, and a whole lot of affection waiting for the right people!Estimated to be around 2 years old and weighing 64 pounds, Delilah is a little more reserved than her outgoing companion, Dolly. New people and unfamiliar situations can make her nervous, and she's definitely not a fan of having a camera pointed in her direction! But give this sweet girl some time to feel comfortable, and you'll discover a completely different side of her.We recently witnessed a wonderful example of just how affectionate Delilah can be. While she was keeping her distance from unfamiliar visitors, a volunteer she knew and trusted entered the play yard. What a transformation! Delilah immediately hurried over to greet him, leaning into his affection, showering him with love, and even putting her paws up on his shoulders for some extra cuddles! It was a beautiful glimpse of the loving, devoted companion hiding beneath that initially shy exterior.Delilah came to us with Dolly, who we believe may be her sister. The two girls enjoy being together, and Delilah does seem to look to her more confident companion for comfort and reassurance when she's feeling uncertain. While we'd love to see them adopted together, it's not a requirement. We do think Delilah would benefit from having another friendly, confident dog in her new home, whether that's Dolly or a new canine companion.Delilah is looking for a patient, understanding family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to settle in and build trust. Once you've earned her confidence, you may just find yourself with a 64-pound cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to you!Delilah may take a little longer to give you her heart, but we think she'll be well worth the wait.
