Story
🎤✨ Meet Taylor Swift ✨🎤 Now before you start imagining a dog who spends her days writing breakup songs about the squirrel that rejected her friendship or releasing surprise albums titled The Tortured Treat Department, let's clear a few things up. This Taylor Swift is actually pretty chill. In fact, if we were assigning albums to her personality, she'd spend most of her time in her Folklore era. Peaceful. Relaxed. Unbothered. The type of dog who looks around at chaos and thinks, "That seems exhausting." But don't let that calm exterior fool you. Every now and then she enters her Shake It Off era and suddenly remembers she has legs. That's when you'll see little bursts of enthusiasm where she zooms around, gets excited about life, and acts like she just sold out a three-night tour at the local dog park. When it comes to her humans, she's firmly in her Lover era. She enjoys being around her people and appreciates a good hangout session, whether that's lounging around the house, going for a walk, or supervising your daily activities like she's conducting a very important concert tour. And unlike the real Taylor Swift, you won't need to battle Ticketmaster, take out a second mortgage, or survive a virtual waiting room to spend time with her. You just need treats. And to give her compliments...lots of them. ;) 📍 Location: Hutchinson, KS -Adopters will need to come pick up their new furry family member themselves. Apply at: https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app Taylor Swift is a 2-year-old, 42-pound female Poodle who found herself needing a place to land when life unexpectedly threw her off tour. Now Taylor is busy working on her comeback tour, and we're looking for the lucky family that will become her forever audience. When it comes to other dogs, Taylor is a lot like a celebrity trying to grab coffee while being chased by paparazzi. All she wants is her space respected, and she wasn't expecting twelve strangers to run up and immediately demand friendship. Imagine if you were trying to enjoy your morning latte and suddenly a crowd appeared yelling, "OH MY GOSH WE SHOULD BE BEST FRIENDS!" That's basically how Taylor feels about new dogs. As a result, she can be a little grumbly at first. Not because she's looking for Bad Blood, but because she'd appreciate everyone respecting her personal space while she figures out whether they're worth adding to her VIP list. The first few days may include some side-eye, some muttering under her breath, and the occasional canine version of, "Can you not?" But once she's had time to adjust, she settles in beautifully and realizes the other dogs aren't actually paparazzi trying to photograph her leaving the gym. Her version of friendship simply takes a little longer than the average golden retriever who thinks every living creature is their soulmate. As for cats, Taylor's philosophy is simple: "You Need To Calm Down." If the cat is respectful and understands the concept of personal boundaries, they're good. If the cat insists on parkouring across her face at 3 a.m., repeatedly invading her bubble, and generally behaving like an unpaid intern with too much confidence, she may have some notes. When it comes to people, Taylor is surprisingly grounded for someone of her fame. She's polite when meeting new people but isn't out there campaigning for attention. Think less celebrity kissing babies on the campaign trail and more famous actress quietly shopping at Target hoping nobody notices. She'll greet you politely, accept your admiration, and then continue about her day with dignity intact. And once she decides you're part of her inner circle? Welcome to the Lover era. Around her foster's teenager, she's basically a combination security guard, emotional support blanket, and professional cuddle consultant. If anyone needed a personal bodyguard whose payment consists entirely of affection and snacks, Taylor has already submitted her résumé. In short, Taylor isn't anti-social. She's just selective. She's the celebrity who prefers small dinner parties over red carpet events, quality friendships over random acquaintances, and would very much appreciate everyone letting her warm up at her own pace before requesting selfies. If you're looking for a dog who's training for an ultramarathon, planning a backpacking trip through the Rockies, and hopes to summit Everest by next Tuesday, Taylor would like to respectfully withdraw her application. Taylor's energy level sits comfortably in the middle. She's not a couch potato, but she's also not auditioning for the canine Olympics. Think less Eras Tour and more Netflix Special Recorded From the Comfort of Home. When it comes to walks, however, she is an absolute professional. While some dogs treat every walk like they're competing in the Indy 500, Taylor strolls with the grace and composure of a celebrity trying to avoid making headlines. No frantic zig-zagging. No attempts to drag you into another zip code. Just a lovely, civilized walk where everyone keeps their dignity intact. Now let's discuss car rides. Taylor enjoys riding in the car, but she'd prefer if the seating arrangement reflected her celebrity status. Her ideal setup is not "in the back minding her business." Left to her own devices, she'd happily attempt to become your co-pilot, therapist, GPS, emotional support animal, and passenger princess all at the same time. For everyone's safety, she does best buckled in where she can continue overseeing operations from a secure location. As for adventures?Taylor is in her Folklore era. She is a homebody through and through. While other dogs dream of scaling mountains and chasing waterfalls, Taylor dreams of becoming one with your couch cushions. She would much rather spend her afternoon curled up beside you than embarking on a quest to discover herself in the wilderness. In fact, her favorite hobby is invading personal space in the most loving way possible. When it comes to toys, she enjoys them. When it comes to fetch, however, she'd like to discuss a serious flaw in the game's design. You throw the toy. She retrieves the toy. Then you're expecting her to give the toy back? Why? That sounds suspiciously like extra work. Overall, Taylor is cool, calm, cuddly, and wonderfully easy to live with. She's the canine equivalent of a celebrity who could attend every party in town but would honestly rather stay home in sweatpants, order takeout, and spend quality time with her favorite people. One of the nicest things about Taylor is that she isn't particularly demanding when it comes to her living arrangements. Massive fenced estate? Sure. Suburban backyard? Sounds lovely. Apartment with regular walks? Also acceptable. Unlike some celebrities whose rider requires imported water from a glacier and exactly 47 white roses arranged in a specific pattern, Taylor's list of demands is refreshingly short. She's adaptable enough to do well in a variety of homes as long as her people are committed to giving her the attention and companionship she deserves. When it comes to potty training, she absolutely understood the assignment. Taylor is house-trained and has no interest in turning your home into a surprise art installation. As for kennels, she does okay. Like many celebrities, she isn't thrilled when security escorts her to her private dressing room. She'll bark a little while settling in, mostly to ensure everyone understands she has opinions about the situation. Fortunately, once she's had a chance to process the injustice of temporarily being separated from her public, she settles down. She doesn't chew things she shouldn't. In fact, she's surprisingly trustworthy. As for barking, she's what we'd describe as a casual commentator. Not a professional broadcaster like some dogs we know.....More like that one friend who occasionally provides light commentary when something interesting happens. Overall, Taylor is easygoing, adaptable, low-drama, and delightfully normal. She doesn't need a mansion, a private chef, or a backstage dressing room. She just wants a family to love, a couch to claim, and a human willing to accept that personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule. So if you're thinking, "This sounds like my kind of dog," here's your next step: 🎵 Fill out an adoption application: https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app Once your application is submitted, we'll review it and, if it looks like a potential match, send it along to Taylor's foster family for consideration. 📍 Taylor is being fostered in Hutchinson, KS, and her adopter will need to travel there to pick her up. No, she will not be arriving via private jet. No, there is not an Eras Tour stop in your city. No, Travis Kelce will not be making a surprise appearance at pickup. You will, however, get a wonderful dog who thinks cuddling is a full-time job, believes couches should be shared, and is ready to spend the rest of her life loving her people. And honestly? That sounds better than concert tickets anyway. ❤️

Story
She's the poodle who took "Puppy in my pocket" a little too seriously. Introducing Tallulah, a once in a lifetime adoptable puppy. She's a 16 week old, full blood Miniature Poodle weighing just 5 pounds. Opportunities this special don't come around often. And Tallulah has something that makes her even more one of a kind. An injured back leg that she cannot use. Our vets believe she'll most likely just live with it, but don't let that fool you. This is a tiny rocket bursting with energy and personality. Half the time, you can't even tell anything is different. She refuses to let that leg slow her down. Tallulah is utterly obsessed with people. If she could crawl inside your skin to be closer to you, she would. Kisses, cuddles, following your every step, she's perfected it all. And she's a master of making every single person she meets fall 100% in love with her. She's wonderful with dogs and cats, but being so tiny, her new family will need to take precautions. Tallulah is working on crate and potty training, but be honest, with a princess like this, it can be difficult. A leash? Forget about it. She must be carried everywhere. I'm pretty sure it's in her bylaws She firmly believes she's the queen of the castle. Tiny dog 'tude included. Yes, we know Tallulah is probably the most perfect, tiny, fluffy pocket puppy, but she is unique with her leg and will need an adopter who understands that. She'll also need regular grooming. She will be vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped upon adoption. If you think you can handle this special little spitfire, submit your application quickly because she will not last long. Adopters must pick up this Saturday in Broken Arrow, OK at our adoption event.
