Some dogs come into rescue with a story… and Rooster’s is one that tugs a little harder on the heart. This handsome 4-year-old Standard Poodle lost his mom about six months ago, and now he’s looking for someone to help him start his next chapter.   Rooster is a people-loving, joy-chasing kind of guy. Men, women, kids… if you’ve got hands for petting, he’s already your biggest fan. He rides great in the car, keeps a clean house (fully house trained ), and settles nicely in a kennel when needed… though he will politely “announce” if you’re home and he’d rather be out with you.   When it comes to other dogs, Rooster is very social… maybe a little too enthusiastic. He’s that friend who shows up to the party ready to cannonball into the pool before checking if anyone else is in it. He just wants to play, but his manners could use some polishing, and he has shown some dominant behavior with another male dog. With guidance and structure, he’s going to shine.   The good stuff: • House & kennel trained • Knows basic commands (sit, shake, kennel) • Great in the car • Does not counter surf • Loves people of all ages   What he needs: • A little obedience tune-up • Continued structure with other dogs • Someone who will help him channel all that playful energy.   Rooster doesn’t just want a home… he wants his person again. My father passed a dog onto me named Maxi because my dad is passing away. Maxi comes from N.Carolina he is fun and loves food. He is a senior which he is 17 years old . My dad always took him to a groomer if you can see his pink Mohawk. Lol Maxi is alot of fun. I cant keep him only because we have dogs already and they are small . I need Maxi to go to a nice home that will be gentle with him. He loves walks and loves food !! All types. Maxi is a good companion dog .

Shes such a sweet dog. She needs lots of love and attention and is great with my kids. She needs somewhere with space to run as she gets out of my yard frequently and I worry for her safety around cars. Shes not great with other dogs but given more space she may be okay with them. She loves stuffies and treats.
