Normand is a boy who thinks life is awesome and he should tell you all about it! He is a loveable boy but suffers from some anxiety and is currently on medication to help him settle and be able to concentrate on learning new things. He is reactive when he is on leash and sees another dog. He'll bark and pull toward them, but with proper introduction he loves to play with other dogs

Rusty is a great dog but he is nervous of new experiences and situations. He is just seeing a lot of things for the first time in his life and he doesn't know what they are nor how to act around them. His new family is going to need to take it easy with him and teach him that the world is a little scary but mostly wonderful and full of exciting and fun things! Rusty will benefit from intentional training so working with a qualified, positive trainer will be a bonus. Rusty will also need someone willing to continue his house training. Peeing and pooping where you sleep, for three years, is a hard habit to break. Rusty is doing so well and only marks occasionally now but we expect he will back slide, just a little, when he moves to his forever home so you'll need to be understanding.

Etobicoke, ON - Thank you for your interest in Rowan. He is a gorgeous, 2 year old, standard poodle who came to us from a puppy mill. While we don't know the exact mill he came from, we do know he was born, and lived his whole life, inside a barn with little to no human contact. He got his freedom and a real life the day he came into SPIN! It's amazing he doesn't hate humans

You know, it's not fair that some dogs are born into loving homes and get the best start in life and others are born in a barn, never meet nice people and don't have fun experiences when they are growing. That was Reggie's fate in life. No grass or toys. No fun things to play with. No people sitting on the floor letting him explore them and play with them. No warm laps to snuggle in. Just a barn, shavings, and no nice people. What a great day when he was released!

Thank you for your interest in Skipper. We don't know how Skipper turned out so great. It certainly wasn't because humans gave him a great start in life or loved him. He was in a barn. Smelly and undersocialized. He likely only met humans when they grabbed him to shave his hair off or give him a needle. That all ended the day SPIN got the call that the puppy mill was going to release a male, standard poodle they no longer needed or wanted. We couldn't get him fast enough! He is such a great boy and he is loving life!
