Story
Meet Fiona 💕🐾 — a sweet, gentle girl with a lovely balance of playful energy and laid-back cuddle time. Fiona adores being near her people and is respectful in the home—no destructive habits here. She’s fully housetrained, crate trained, and settles easily into a predictable routine. Her days include playtime with her foster family, independent toy time, and romping in the snow (one of her favorite things!), followed by calm evenings and a quiet night’s sleep in her crate. She does well when left alone and has been comfortably crated for up to 4½ hours. Fiona gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing, sleeping nearby, and keeping watch together. While she doesn’t require another dog in her forever home, she would likely enjoy having one. She plays nicely with humans and dogs, loves squeaky toys (especially balls), and has no prey drive. She may alert bark at noises or people outside, but otherwise settles well in a calm, structured home. Fiona does have allergies and will likely need a special diet and monthly medication long-term, which has helped her stay happy and comfortable. She also has a bite history from before coming into foster care; however, details around the situation are unknown, and no concerning behaviors have been observed while in foster. Fiona has settled in beautifully and would thrive with an understanding adopter who values routine, companionship, and a loyal, affectionate best friend 💖🐶
