Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Samson is a 1.5-year-old Husky, Australian Shepherd, and Poodle mix weighing about 40 pounds. He has a medium-high energy level and is full of playful curiosity. Though he is nervous at first, once he feels safe, Samson becomes a happy, bouncy pup who loves attention and belly rubs. One of his cutest quirks is emptying the toy box; he’ll take out every single toy and play with them all in turn. Samson is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and rides calmly in the car. He is also crate-trained and does well when it’s quiet, though he may let his husky voice be heard if he feels he’s missing out on the action. He enjoys walks, fetch, and playing with other dogs, but may be best as the only dog in the family. Samson has shown mild curiosity around livestock and chickens and has done well on leash around them. We think he would be best in a home with no cats, since he tends to pester them in play. Samson had to be shaved down due to matting and will be looking for a family who will continue his grooming routine. He has made great progress with his initial shyness and is already much more comfortable with new people than when he first arrived. He sometimes shies away from men but continues to improve as he builds trust. With time and patience, his happy, goofy side shines through, and he becomes affectionate, silly, and eager to be part of the family. Samson is ready for a home that can give him both guidance and love, along with plenty of playtime and dog companionship. With the right family, he will grow into a loyal, fun-loving partner who fills the home with energy, joy, and all the toys scattered from his favorite game of emptying the toy box.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 25, 2026, 9:47 am

Story
Meet Ebony — a one-of-a-kind beauty with a heart just as special as her look! This 1-year-old, 35-pound Poodle/Hound mix has the coolest soft, wiry coat in shades of black and gray and a personality that will win you over in no time. Ebony is the perfect mix of playful and calm. She loves to run and play with other dogs, so a home with a canine buddy would be ideal for her. But once playtime is over, she’s all about the cuddles, pets, and being told what a good girl she is! She’s doing great with house training when kept on a schedule, is crate trained (though she’d prefer not to spend too much time there), and walks pretty well on a leash. Around the home, she’s relaxed and easy to have around—just happy to be near her people. Ebony can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—she warms up quickly, especially if treats are involved! Because of her gentle nature, she would do best in a home where someone is around often and where she has a fenced yard to safely stretch her legs and play. If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly shy girl who will blossom into an incredibly loyal and loving companion, Ebony is your match.   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ifvyou are interested.        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 24, 2026, 11:27 pm

Story
e you looking for the perfect little partner in crime? Let me introduce you to Darby. She is a smart, sassy, snuggly 4 month old 23lb standard poodle pup who was surrendered after being adopted for 5 days. Darby is the sweetest little girl who loves to play, snuggle, is crate trained, and is doing well with housebreaking (although regression can be expected with a change of environment). Darby loves everyone she meets and gets so excited to meet strangers. Everyone is her friend.. Darby is still teething so is a little mouthy right now, but can be easily redirected with toys. She loves to play with her toys and anything else she finds on the floor, so you will want to make sure you don’t drop anything or it’s a target. She will easily give up her current target for a treat or another toy. She loves to play fetch so a home with a fenced in yard would be great so she can chase a ball. Darby would do best in a home with kids and a playful pup sibling. She is always up for some wrestling with her human or dog siblings but by 7PM she just wants to cuddle in her owners arms and go to sleep. She just wants to play and then pass out. Darby is the perfect combination of sweet and silly but is still a young puppy. Darby is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. She will need to be spayed when she is older. If little Darby would be a good addition to your family, apply only through our website today! *Additional note: Darby is being fostered in Clinton, NJ. A separate meet and greet with potential adopters and all resident pets is required prior to final approval.
